Texas has upcoming home-and-home series with Notre Dame (2015-16), USC (2017-18), LSU (2019-20), Ohio State (2022-23) and Michigan (2023-24).

Damn. That's good competition (maybe).

these kinds of agreements between to programs of this caliber are always made pretty far ahead of time. I'm honestly surprised it's not in the mid 2020's.

Why is that? Based on our schedule we should be able to fit Texas in 2016. I'm not sure of what their current schedule issues are though.

LSU needs to stop agreeing to home and homes where they have to make the first trip. They should have learned after the shite Virginia Tech pulled.

Texas plays ND and at Cal in 2016 (and UTEP for what that's worth). Tough to squeeze in LSU with a 9 game conference schedule too - I for one would drop any of those three in a heartbeat for LSU but looks like 2019 was the soonest that Texas doesn't have 2 OOC Power 5 games scheduled.

I think this UT series is taking the place of one that had been scheduled with OK some years back.

2021: Sat, Sep 04 UCLA at Pasadena, Calif. (Rose Bowl)

2022: Sat, Sep 10 Arizona St. at Tempe, Ariz. (Sun Devil Stadium)

2023: Sat, Sep 09 Arizona St. Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium)

2024: Sat, Aug 31 UCLA Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium)
