LSU almost has double the odds to win the CWS than Kentucky?

LSU is still sitting at +1600 and 3-12 in conference
Ketucky is +2900(previously +6000 yesterday) sitting at 14-1 in conference play.
Does Vegas know something that we don’t? FanDuel had lsu at over/under 42 wins before the season started..and I thought that was a givin after winning 53 regular season games last year. Vegas had lsu basketball at 6 sec wins in basketball after winning 2 conference games last season..I think most people would have thought we’d win less than 6 and we turned out to win 9..
What does Vegas know that we don’t about this LSU team the rest of the season?

There is already a lot of money on LSU from preseason rankings. They won't get any more. They are trying to reel in the fish in Kentucky.

Do the odds makers even care about or pay attention to college baseball that much? Can't be a big money maker for them.

It’s very simple. The back half of LSUs schedule is weaker than the front. Vegas thinks they could get hit against weaker teams and ride that into the World Series. Also, the SEC is freaking loaded we are set up pretty well against most non SEC schools.
Also, they know a bunch of fricking idiots will still bet those odds trying to get lucky.

We were 42-13 in the regular season last year
