Sampson getting the start is interesting

Not worried about Simmons' 10 turnovers as he filled up the stat sheet again

Elbert Robinson didn't even get off the bench. Lack of depth at big man will be a thorn in LSU's side all year.

Not a lot of defense being played in these games?

24 second shot clock means many more possessions

Ben needs to work on his FT shooting. 55% this game and 57% last game

He was bad at them in HS as well. He shot it fine in the 1st game though.

Yep. He really needs to get that FT working because he will get fouled a lot. If I was coach I'd basically tell him to shoot 1k FTs every day till the season starts.

Surprised Jayln Patterson has been so quiet this trip.

Me too. He hasn't had a double figure scoring game yet I don't believe. I'm not super worried about it because other guards are stepping up, but I expected more, especially with Gray left in BR.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I think Patterson is the odd guard out. It's obvious we have 3 guards who can play shooting guard who are better, and he can't really play PG. Many thought Gray would be out, but he still has a spot as the backup PG

Hopefully that has some to do with improved shot selection

Ehh. I think the others game is just more developed. He will be a big key to what we do this year even if it is 10 minutes, 5 points and a handful of rebounds/assists.
