It's a pleasure. Just hoping to get more LSU fans involved in the program.

Good write up

The SEC is much improved imo. I think right now we do look like the second best team but I am sure FLA and Arky are going to make a strong push for it. Also SC has looked good this season blowing out both OK state and clemson.

Also I just looked at rivals and many SEC schools are doing well recruiting A&M is 3rd right now. Sec looks to be rebuilding in general.

I think we have to at least go 11-7 in the SEC to make it. 10 or more losses and I see us NIT bound.

South, at this point what's you're thoughts on what LSU needs to do during SEC play? Tennessee got in with 11-7 last year and one win in the SEC tournament. Does LSU need to replicate similar numbers? Also, does it favor LSU that we only play Kentucky once and at home for that matter?

UT last season had a much better OOC resume than LSU does this season. They played Xavier twice (beat them once), along with Wichita St., NC State and Virginia. They also had a win over Virginia who went on to be a #1 seed in the NCAAT. They had the luxury of losing 7 SEC games and still having a strong (enough) overall case to get into the tournament. LSU won't have that same luxury

It's been great seeing Quarterman produce but I think the guy who is an x-factor is Paterson. He takes great care of the ball and can knock down the open three. Makes me feel a little more comfortable about the depth at PG.

I just don't see a ton of good resume's out there. Tennessee was 8-4 against Div1 OOC last year and I think their low win total hurt them. They only had 19 wins (18 against Div 1) while LSU would have 22 wins against Division 1 teams if they go 11-7 in SEC play. I know the competition isn't as great, but I think that WVU game will help us a lot and hoping Texas Tech and Sam Houston St can continue to win like they are...

Teams like Michigan and Michigan St. are helping our cause when they lose to NJIT and Texas Southern.

Line is set at -12.5 and 132.5 total.

Sounds about right. If the line was under 10 I'd feel supremely confident in LSU, but they could always come out flat and be forced to fight all game.
