Why use 2006 as the starting point? Just out of curiosity.

If you want to go back one more year, we were 4-1 in 2005. Beat Bama, Auburn, Florida and Miami, lost to UGA. So we're 29-21 overall under Miles.

ETA: Looking at the article, it starts with 2006 as the time since UGA's last SEC championship, since that's the main focus.

conventional wisdom is that miles only wins because he has more talent. see, in the rugged sec west, all you need to do is put 11 athletes on the field, have them draw up a play in the dirt and say have fun. basically anybody can do it so, the record really isn't all that impressive. just ask anyone on the secrant or a nega.

Ask Florida or Ohio St. or USC or Miami or Texas or Oregon( they going down). It's not easy to keep a program at the top. And Miles has done it for 11 years. Of course most TD readers ( who are very quiet this year for some reason) say its so easy and because of Saban. Now I will always thank Saban for getting us back on track but Miles IS WAY UNDER APPRCIATED. PLUS! WE IN THE FRICKEN TOUGHEST DIVISION IN THE TOUGHEST CONF. IN THE HISTORY OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL

Since Miles was hired no program has beaten more ranked teams than lsu and no program has been ranked in the top 25 more weeks than lsu.

You can tell who the football ignorant posters are when someone posts that it's easy to win 10 games every year. From 2009-2013 only 4 programs won at least 9 games every season and lsu was one of them. 99 % of all cfb programs can't win 9 games every year, let alone 10.

and that's with the majority of them playing in easier conferences.

i swear big12 defense looks worse this year than ever. it is pathetic. it's literally like they're not even trying to field a defense.
