Because people point out games Lsu didn't cover, or win, but don't say anything about the other extreme.

Well that says everything by God, this proves I'm a dumbass because I don't keep up with byu...lol...assumed they were in mountain West, or some bs...only independent I'm aware of is notre dame. But hey Earl, we know you are high on byu, you have already said they have a better program than arky, a&m, and om of late (not going forward). Hell you pointed out their schedule was as tough as a sec schedule, and that they played 2 teams that finished on top 25, and even a couple more with winning records. Lol

I never said that BYU would be able to compete week in and week out successfully in the SEC, but I know for a damn fact that they have the ability to bite any team in America in the arse on any given Saturday.
And the way Arkansas, Missouri and Mississippi played last year, I would have put my money on the Mormons. frick, they beat Mississippi State last year.

Given that Missouri sucks, I agree, and that state went 5-7 last year...my guess is that state gets even this year at home, while byu starts the year 3-4 at best.
I'd put byu on same level as Kentucky. If Kentucky played that schedule each year, very likely a lot of 8-4 type seasons...

I keep up with college football, not just Lsu. Byu isn't and hasn't been on the radar since they were awarded a NC by beating a 6-5 Michigan in the holiday bowl, if I recall correctly.

I think BYU is a little better than Kentucky, but I basically agree with your post. I would think that if BYU were to play a SEC schedule every year. they would have some years where they might finish the year 5-3 or 6-2 at best, if they were in the east, and depending on which west schools they played, and years where they would finish 4-4 or 3-5.
They have a better program than most on here want to give them. They aren't world beaters, but they aren't push overs either.

It has absolutely nothing. My point was I haven't kept up with them in about that long. Hell I thought they were in the mountain West conference.
