Damn, I was at all of these. We really are getting old. Was also at the 79 USC game, didn't realize how many NFL superstars were on the field at that time.

Ohio State game in about 87 was loud

I can remember hearing Tom Tupa punt the ball. Sounded like a cannon when it came off of his foot.

2016 Alabama game was pretty loud too. Consistent noise but unfortunately we didn’t have an offense that night. When Jamal Adams picked off Jalen Hurts on the first drive, that place was rocking. I thought that night was our night after that Adams interception

2019 Florida game was really loud.

Been to every big game since 97 Florida, besides 2003 UGA. 2019 Florida was every bit as loud as anything I’ve been to. 2012 bama was bonkers, same with 2012 USC

2001 auburn was a party

2012 Alabama is my answer to the question but I chose to not remember it so I say 2007

JC copelands catch and run to end the 3rd follow by hold that tiger had the stadium going bonkers. I would have live bet my 401k on the LSU ML right there if I had the chance

Forgot about 2001 AU. That game was wild even for a 16 year old.

I love late November night games, just pitch black as you walk in the stadium

I can chime in with some authority on this since I have been going to the games since 1966.

Some of the loudest games I have been to were when the stadium held 67,500 real (not corporate) fans. The stadium has never been more electric than it was for Notre Dame 1971. Then the following year there was the Bert Jones to Brad Davis game against Ole Miss.

The Earthquake game in 1988 may have been the loudest moment. USC 1979 was the greatest game we ever lost (we got screwed).

Georgia 2003 kick started the current golden age of Tiger Football. Skyler Green caught that ball right in front of me.

All of that said, when this subject comes up on this board (which is often) I have a definite answer. Florida 2007 was Tiger Stadium at its peak.

Same feeling when delpit sacked Tua on the first play in 2018. Then when Tua broke off that long run TD, I knew it wasn’t happening.

2008 Alabama blocked kick

This may have been the loudest single moment and it happened right on front of me. However I left that game thoroughly pissed of.

And if Beckwith runs toward the LSU sideline he had a wide open field with 10 guys.

One of the loudest I’ve ever heard was 2014 game against ole miss. With the addition of the south end zone stadium club, it seemed to hold the noise in more.

My dad and I were at that game. I agree with everything you said.

We left with huge smiles and went to get some beer after the game.

Even though we lost, 2008 bama was the loudest I’ve experienced in TS. Specifically when we blocked that chip shot field goal to force over time. Place went absolutely nuts.

I was down on the sidelines for this game. I swear the ground shook. Immediately after the game I called my brother and dad who were driving home to see what they were saying about the earthquake.

Side note: Tommy mofitt had words with Lee corso because Lee said this games over let’s get out of here before the blocked FG.
