Louder Tiger Stadium

Oregons Autzen stadium and the Seahawks stadium are two of the louder football places in the country because of the awnings over them, people say that the sound hits off of them and bounces back onto the field. Now with the end zone in closed at tiger stadium do you think that we will have a similar effect and the sound will bounce back onto the field.

the way tiger stadium was first engineered is what makes it so loud. The stadium seating is very steep as opposed to many other venues where the seating goes up at a much lower angle. it would be interesting to see who has the steepest seating in the country.

that may help make it louder, but no way they intended that when they built it in 1924

if you look at the way kyle field at aTm is engineered, it's VERY wide. the stadium seating almost looks flat it's at such a small angle. Also why the footprint is going to be so large you could probably see it from space.

Haha yeah I got it right we all make typos from time to time. I'm glad you all got some amusement out of it.

i never said they did it on purpose, but that was the way it was "engineered".

You mean awnings?
I don't mean to be a grammar nazi, but that's pretty bad.

What the heck is an "oning" please?
Is this an "awning" up in the Pacific Northwest?

It can't hurt...

not much of an awning at Autzen. Oregon State has huge awnings as does Washington.
