You say regression and that may be your point of view but the truth is we overachieved last year and that set them up for failure this year. We aren't as good or as deep as Fl St. That is a fact. We were good enough to compete with them for 3 qtrs and 6-7 plays may change that game but so be it, we lost. They wanted to experiment with Perkins a ILB. Probably should have waited till Grambling game to try that but we still have weaknesses that have not been filled with one recruiting class and some transfers. It looks good for the future and in a couple of years we will be that Fl St team with Sr's and Jr's all over the place. But this championship now or bust mentality is for the emotionally uninformed. If we continue to struggle against Miss St and Ark then the criticism will be justified but after 2 games, one against one of the best teams in the country on the road and the other a blowout against a rent a win, I think we can wait to see what adjustments they make before going off the deep end.

I have total confidence in Coach Kelly. I believe that we will have a good year, but it will take time to work in the younger more talented players especially in the secondary. This year will be similar to last year; we will continue to progress, but there will be growing pains.
