Well that's dumb. Mediocre fans breed mediocre programs. Doing your part I see.

Why would devote all that time and effort into watching a 1970s offense?

This is what LSU football has become...playing against a 5 loss team in the Texas Bowl.

Awful.

The 90s when the Liberty Bowl was the pinnacle? What did we do 3 bowls total in the entire decade?

Stop being a self entitled vijayjay.

I love Texas Tech's offense. If they could get a defense, watch out!

Tech runs an aid raid, but their leading rusher has 1452 yards averaging over 6.5 ypc with 14 rush TDs in addition to 300 receiving yards and 2 more TDs.

His backup has 347 yards at 5.88 ypc with 5 TDs and an additional 340 receiving yards and 6 TDs, averaging an impressive 15.5 ypr.

And oh my Klingsbury has another great dual threat in his air raid scheme who put up nearly 4300 pass yards completing 65% of his passes at an impressive 8.3 ypa with 32 TDs. He has also rushed for 480 yards and 10 TDs averaging 4.1 ypc.

I wonder what he'd do with the money and resources to have a legit defense.

Your favorite team is traveling to your back yard to play a football game. I can't imagine not going. Staying home isn't going to make them fire Miles before next year.

I'll be there, hopefully shite talking my TTU alum BIL on the way to a Tiger win. His team sucks worse and he'll be there cheering for Tech. Despite all the frustration, isn't that the main role of a fan?

Yep. Too bad most of the fanbase doesn't realize it. We'll be in the same spot next year. Les will give a zany press conference, the media will kiss his arse, and the pumpers will say "just give him one more year"

well texas tech isn't a big 6 team so going to any bowl pleasures them. we are an established top 10 power house program. This shite is beneath us.

I think this is a shite bowl against a 7-5 dogshit opponent, but I completely agree with this sentiment. No way I would miss it.

There's a reason this has almost never happens.

Look at Petrino at Arkansas. What guys like he, Kingsbury, Leach, etc. do is focus 80% or more of their effort on offense. College isn't like the NFL. You have a very limited amount of practice time, so you have to use it wisely. Petrino was known to take his best athletes on defense, and move them to offense. He would also tell his DBs they weren't allowed to be too physical with his WRs during practice.
