I see my Leesville boy David Detz made the roster after walking on last year. He's No. 19. That's a Wampus Cat from a solid military family.

Why is jai listed as a sophomore? I thought he has played two years and was a sophomore last year?

I wouldn't be surprised if he transferred to State once he realizes how far down the depth chart he is going to be.

I think he was president of one of the chapters and not the entire association, but I could be mistaken. He is no longer in that position. He fully supports his son's decision to attend LSU and says some of the adverse reaction from State fans will make it easier for him to wear purple and gold.

Tim Molten needs to change numbers. I can't remember a WR with #43.

Dixon and McCoy are not on the roster. Who else was rumored to be transferring?

It's still am interesting decision. He's a drop-back/pocket QB, which is the exact opposite of the profile that Les says that he wants (and definitely contrasts with Shep).

Hard to see how he fits into the system that Les is putting together, but I hope that he finds what he's looking for at LSU.

#43

I think there was a guy who played WR at Miami that was #43. I think his name was Michael Irvin. I remember him being really impressive.
