Why? The word a week ago was Haley suggested Steele to Miles due to him knowing him well and working with him at Baylor.

Well then the chatter I heard a few days ago about Corey Raymond and Oklahoma may have some real teeth because this was announced today. Bobby Jack Wright retired from Oklahoma.....soooo this is now something to watch.

Why would Raymond leave LSU, the DBU thing he's has going here is giving him more exposure where he could get offers from bigger schools for DC or asst DC, he probably makes more here than he would at another big school at the same position or a DC at a small school

Elway fired Fox, but they still hugged it out.
This is the nature of coaching....coaches know this going in.

I don't know what Brick's position will be, or even if he will be at LSU period. Right now he looks like the odd man out.

Realizing this is an old post, but it would be in Brick's best interest to not follow Chief--whether aTm or elsewhere. He has spent 6 years under JC, yet seems to have the reputation of not being "one of the best" from a technical standpoint or from a recruiting standpoint; therefore, working under a set of fresh eyes and new expectations should help his development--providing he is still motivated enough to put in the effort--because it is obvious he reach saturation under Chavis' tutelage.

Honestly 99.999999% of the posters on here don't know anything more than what they hear on the radio or see on rivals.com or this site.
This board is full of idiots that pull a Cowherd by saying "I know who the next DC is but I can't name names" and then after it is publicly announced, "I knew it the whole time."
