We were on top of the world and enjoying ever second. Dominating teams and exciting play on the field. We were probably considered the best program in the country for a decade on 1/8/12. Now we have lost all the momentum from 2000 and Tiger Stadium is not a place teams fear anymore and fans don't show up. This is why I never once took 2000-2012 for granted.

The mulligan game was a kick in the guts but LSU would've recovered with a merely mediocre passing game. Les just couldn't put one together.

Saban didn’t do this. Alleva and Alexander did this by fricking up the Miles firing in 2015. There won’t be any available coaches after this season with the shite that is the SEC.
frick those 2. Firing Miles and hiring this bum was stupid. You don’t go to a worse coach. You just don’t.

Nick Saban made this program. Like it or not. The only thing Saban is guilty of is kicking our arse.

Basically Saban is showing us what our program could have been.

You will get down voted because people cant admit it but its the truth, doesnt appear to be personal he has broken the SEC, just took longer for us.

Your post kinda reminded me why I was disgusted on the day LSU replaced Saban with Les Miles.

bullshite! 13 other schools play in the conference with Saban and they didn't hire Orgeron. Quit making excuses. We have poor leadership and hired a terrible football coach.

Bet you're looking forward to that first beer when you're 21

He's gotten there by some pretty shady means. The Rec, having Finebaum/EsPN as his PR firm, having a buddy as the head of the organization that is supposed to regulate him and of course his "internal discipline" policies.

Imagine LSU with Periloux in 08 and 09. Without him we had an OT loss and one due to corrupt refs.

The "do over" was what really emboldened Little Nicky that he could get away with whatever he wanted or lose an important game and still get a pass.

GOOD this fan base needs to be knocked down a peg or three we’ve become very spoiled and almost entitled. A little dip to the basement might do everyone some good there’s nothing like the climb to the top!

Aka the bright side..... I guess....

I'm done blaming Les. I'm in the crowd that knows he needed to go, but still wishes he would have just been offensively open minded. I'm also aware that the last couple recruiting cycles left us with holes.

But, les always kept us competitive too. We had grown stale under Les but it was steady stale. We weren't trending downward but we damn sure weren't trending upward.

If Les had been retained through this year, many of us would still be complaining about it. We might have still lost that game to MSU because those guys were just psycho fired up and hungry, but I bet we'd have kept it a close loss. And there'sno way in hell that we'd have lost to fricking TROY. Might have been a close nail biter, but we win it under Les.

No, I blame Alleva because he is responsible for taking LSU down this spiral after allowing himself to be duped by Orgeron. I don't blame Orgeron because he is the affect and not the cause.

Just like in illness in the human body, eliminate the cause and the affects will end shortly thereafter. LSU needs a big shot of medicine to eradicate the cancer that is paid to be our AD.
