Well it tends to get that way with anything when you put thousands into it every year.

For those who simply watch on tv and buy a new shirt every season, well then yeah I agree.

That will be the new nickname for the pumpers who have not put into the program like others yet claim they are better fans.

TV FANS.

Nope.

This logic says we should be pumped for 6-win seasons.

Its too bad LSU Fans are at the point that a chance to win 10 Games is not a big deal anymore. At one time anytime LSU played was a big deal. I do not think another NC would help out the LSU Fans now. Its like they took the entire bottle of Prozac and it does not help anymore.
. Funny how I was just thinking the opposite at how sad it is that we should be happy to get 9 wins. That's a long ways from championship caliber and puts us down in the ranks of ole miss and Vandy who'd celebrate 9 wins like it was a national championship. Heck! We are LSU and we should want and demand more!

I also didn't care we had a bye yesterday. It was nice not playing.
Same here. I remember years when a bye week was like a prison sentence. But that has been gradually going away as LSU teams began looking so plain and predictable in recent years. And as each win over nobody teams began to look more like first-half struggles for survival. This time it was like getting given a gift of a weekend to enjoy.

But I've got myself more looking forward to Mett and Johnny just putting on a show, and I don't particularly care what the result is.

JFF and The A+M Band are the only reasons I'm setting foot in that stadium in the daylight. At least it will be getting dark in the third quarter.

Will be interesting to see the crowd size at the start and if the team has cashed it in for the season like they did after the Alabama game last season.

What's the status of Mett? Is he playing?

In any case, would like to see the "Swag of Jenn" display his awesome passing skills at some point if he gets in there. (Awesome passing skils according to his X-Box worshippers)

IF A+M wins, the boo's wil rain down but it wont be that bad because there will not be many remaining unless it's a very close game.

It is a very big deal because LSU needs to start right now building momentum for the 2014 season. We all knew that this was a rebuilding year because of the defense. They have improved in many areas this season and will be a stronger unit next year. Unfortunately, the offense will have to rebuild next year.

I would love to see LSU win the final two regular season games and put a Miami (Chicken Bowl) style arse whipping on a team like Texas in the Cotton Bowl.

Is it spoiled or apathy? When well coached teams play sloppy you look for reasons why it happens because its not the norm. Penalties, clock management, changing what or who your having success with for no reason, no in game adjustments are some of the many things that are the norm for a Miles coached team. Knowing you have to wait 3 to 5 more yrs before a change produces apathy.

I agree here. I will watch it but the "FIRE has gone out". I know LSU could win this game. Just run Hill about 25-30 times and he gets about 225 yds and three td's and it keeps JFF off the field. BUT NO. shite for brains Miles will NOT do something smart like this. Hey Les Its 4th down and Saban has called timeout at their own 45. What do ya think they are gonna do?????

Why should I take pride in a team that doesnt take pride in themselves. Are you telling me that was a proud team on the field in oxford? What kind of pride did they show at the end of the bama game when letting their qb get demolished because they quit? Is that tiger pride?

So we have 7 wins, those teams dont have pride because they lost to LSU? Listen to yourself. Oh LSU loses so we dont have pride, the players arent motivated and dont care, what a crock of shite. The other teams were just better. Has nothing to do with motivation or pride.

Winning the bowl game, whoever it's against is huge. The win over GT in 2008 created a lot of excitement offseason for the next year. Even if LSU loses the next two and wins it's bowl game in convincing manner I think people will still be somewhat up for the next season.
