Yes, I know injuries always occur in football, but with these reports I'm sure some of these injuries were due to muscle overuse without any rest I can't believe Les was having these long arse hard practices and hardly giving these guys any film sessions.

It depends when all of this started. I don't think the les of 05 was running things this way. We might have in 08 with all the mistakes we made, but I'm betting alot of this more physical practice either started after 1/9/12 or started in 2015.

Your argument would have some value if you had any evidence that LSU was significantly more injury prone than the average team.

I know we had a few this preseason but I never thought we had chronic injury issues under Miles.

I don't think it would have to always be injuries. You can tell we are sluggish in nov and the last few years we have been physically whipped more often than not. So players might not be getting hurt but we might not be at 100 percent effective due to long practice hours.

I think this is a more recent occurrence say in the last few years than a entire time Les was here think. We use to constantly grind people up in the fourth and we lost that over time.

Possible things got even more physical as Les believed his system wasn't flawed and that if we just hit them harder and execute better than it would be ok. I think it goes back a few years though.

Why would LF7 need to practice in August camp? Did he need to learn something he didn't know already?

I do wonder how the buga ankle injury happened. also i don't know why miles thought buga was the only person to exist when we should have been resting him

I definitely think our teams have looked worn out towards the end of the year, especially after Bama. The emotion put into Bama and the let down after the loss, coupled with the expense of energy through that point has left our teams physically and mentally unable to perform well after that game. Even in 2011 we were not the same team after the Bama game - look at the relatively poor performances against Arkansas and Georgia that year.
