There is no need to wonder about who is playing and how much they are playing this weekend. Unless Centenary is quite a bit better than they have been in the past I think just about everybody on the roster will get to see some action this weekend!

The Fighting Gents will give you more than you expect. Be forewarned.

I will be very very surprised, as the season goes along, if Mahtook doesn't move up in the order.

Centenary pitching may surprise if they take them lightly.. most all Centenary pitchers will be 90+ mph..

you seem to be someone "in the know" .. might check with either local(Shreveport) Rockies or Rangers scout on Gent pitching to validate... or wait till Friday. They may never beat Oral Roberts,, or LSU, but LSU will have to swing he bats against decent pitching this weekend.

PM said he wanted a solid RBI guy to protect Dean so that pitchers wouldnt pitch around him and he apparantly thinks Hanover fits the bill.
Why not put Mahtook in the 4 hole? Just sayin

Suprisingly Centenary does have about two to three arms that I would take even on this LSU ball club, but to say something so absoulte as to "most all"....not really following that.

"most all" that will pitch this weekend is what I meant,, obviously some will not even make the trip. The top 5 guys and closer will compete. Obviously beyond that, it will fall off pretty fast.

Ah ok just misunderstood you, but definently agree. What we both can agree on is if LSU thinks they are going to go through another batting practice this weekend they will be in serious trouble.

I was in the stands about 4 years ago when Cent snuck up on LSU in Shreveport. Don't see that heppening this year,, PM too good of a coach,, I suspect he is preparing them to take care of business.

I can see the them sneeking up on LSU in a mid week game during the midddle of the season, but not opening weekend when LSU has to be just so ready to play something other than a scrimmage and the stands full. Besides we have a new intimidator.

Glad you are basing this off of all the off-season work you've put in with the guys.
