Makes sense. I've never been impressed with McMillan.

whatever happened to the claim that McMillan was the best all around passer on the team...?

Isn't that title simply rotated to the next newest back up? You can't be the best if you aren't the last one to arrive on campus. Duh.

Can you at least see him take a couple live snaps by somebody other than his teammates before you go full retard?

Scott is better than people realize and could very well be our starting QB one day.

This is shaping up actually pretty well with their ages. After this season it'll be:

Harris/Etling 1 more year > Scott 3 more years (assuming no redshirt and Miles wants him to get PT in blowouts) > Brennan/Narcisse 4 more years

Hoping Brennan pans out, he could be key to a NC run if he's that good. Plus he fits the system Les doesn't want to change. It'll be nice going back to a pocket passer in a pro-style offense instead of trying to fit a DTQB into the system.

No, this was actually stated by Herb Tyler after watching practice last year and another talking head.

ETA: not saying I know it or believe it, because I don't have the privilege to watch practice (or the in-depth QB analysis to determine even if I did). But I did hear Tyler say this directly on WWL last year.

I am a big supporter of Harris, but there is no way in hell that he's declaring for the draft after this season.

I assume you mean leave early for the NFL? I can't imagine this happening.

LSU will make the CFP with Scott as starting QB

Not this season, but before Scott is done at LSU

I'd gladly take breaking in a new QB. Because in your scenario, that means we've won another NC.

Yeah, If we had kept Perrilloux we would be going for a 10th straight title.

Really liked his HS film, he threw very good on the move. I suppose he's not able to make that translate to the next level though. Seems to be a good athlete, might can play somewhere else.
