Yet he managed to have the highest single season completion % in LSU history.

If JR was white, he would be an icon in this state even with his personal situation right now.

The kid never got in trouble here, gave his best on the field, put up ridiculous numbers, won a bcs bowl, and to my knowledge has never said a negative thing about LSU, and you guys seem to take joy in his personal struggles.

In my opinion, when brothas are done running, jumping, and being an athlete for our beloved LSU, a lot of our fans seem to enjoy bashing them.

Ignorance was JR problem. He is a very uneducated person that treated life for live for the moment and lacked discipline. I never once saw him as a NFL QB because he lacked the mental discipline to help a NFL team. Look at Matt Flynn. Not a great arm but has the work ethic to "make" himself better and has proven that he deserves to belong in the NFL. JR deserves his highest award...biggest bust ever.

How do you know this? Have you talked to him lately, or is it easy to believe what someone else writes or says?

He isn't the first nor will he be the last LSU player in any sport who is lazy or will be lazy and waste their abilities when they leave LSU. It just seems that when anything negative is printed about JR, people rush to start threads to bash him on here.

And as I stated earlier, I stand by the statement you've quoted!

Rohan wasn't the number 1 draft pick and went on to win multiple awards as the nation's top QB in college. There is a difference between the two.

Now they're saying Charles Barkley tried to work with JR and it didn't work out.

Well, guess ESPN has another awesome candidate for a "30 for 30" movie.

An ignorant QB who kept Flynn on the bench while he was at LSU. I guess Jimbo and Les were a couple of dumbasses for playing a QB who was so uneducated that he couldn't read SEC defenses or wasn't "smart" enough to start at LSU.

Check out yards after the catch. Great receivers making great catches, but unable to get any yards after because of the position of their bodies on the catch ala on the ground.

If that is the case then 99% of people not just lsu fans are racist. Have you not heard what everybody not just lsu fans say about the guy. Not sure how race plays a role in anything what so ever.

So what.. People loved Rohan because of his personality and humbleness.. Was he lazy..apparently so but damn i love that guy.. As for JR, he pissed away more talent than almost anyone ever in the history of the NFL. He will be labeled the biggest bust in NFL history. He was cocky, arrogant and flashy..all of which equal embarrassment and shunning when you dont perform.. He has a drug problem, is lazy and when given an opportunity to turn it around.. Is fired by a life coach that he is paying. Someone who has countless success stories and is known to see it through but obviously in this case he saw no light at the end.. Screw JR and it has nothing to with his race.

I think people are missing the big picture here. Knowing what we know now I think it's impressive as he'll what Les got out of JR when he was here when no one else can get anything out of the kid.
