If you think any of those are better, you're the silly one. Elliot is another Ingram. "Leonard Fournette is, I'll say it again, the best running back in the known universe. He has no real weakness. When you look at what he's been able to do, he has the power to run through you. He has the power to run over you, but he has the speed to simply run by you and run away from you. Arm tackles will not work. He is the prototypical down hill, smash-mouth, second coming of Bo jackson type running back."~ESPN analyst and former Florida DE Kevin Carter

LF7 vs Chubb by RickyDonSkaggs

Both great backs. Chubb's injury hopefully does not slow his abilities, not every running back fully recovers from this type of setback.

I would take either one of them and both are extremely productive but if you pulled most college coaches in a room and they had to pick my money would be that most would pick LF7

Splitting hairs here and my opinion would go with LF7

This is embarrassing. I pray someone doesn't see this and make a thread about it on the secR.

Yes. You 2 knuckleheads know more. Gil Brandt also said he would've been the #1 RB in last years draft if he was draft eligible......ahead of Eziekel Elliot

Let's wait on comparing LF7 to NFL backs. Too speculative. But for the rookies those guys have proven it at that level.

LF7 vs Zeke Elliot is interesting comparison. Will be nice to compare their rookie seasons as they are very similar. As rare as Elliott is, I give LF7 the edge on physical traits.

I think he would have been the number 1 rb taken in last year's draft too. But is he the best running back in college AND the NFL? Hell nah

U need to chill out with telling everybody LF is better than every NFL running back. That's just not accurate. Adrian Peterson is an all time great, Leveon Bell is an all around monster, and Todd Gurley is a damn horse. LF is great, but he's not Walter Payton. Could he develop into that caliber of player? Of course. But he's not that caliber of player right now.

Hahaha!
Chubb had 8 yards per carry before he was hurt......
Make sure you know those first few games included ULM, Southern and the worst USCe team fielded in 20 years!

LF7 is the best running back in college football. He will also be the best at the next level.

Agreed. LF7 is a great College running back, But so was Jeremy Hill. If the holes aren't there, they aren't there.

Do defenses put 8 or 9 in the box to stop Chubb?

Yes. UGA QB's are worse than ours.

That said, LF is a bit better.
Both are great.
Both are really awesome young men.

There is no way I'll claim LF7 to be the best NFL running back right now.
But I'll easily put him up against all of the Bama running backs in the NFL. Couple big trophies to their names and the were all waaayyy overrated going into NFL. In my opinion, of course.

I think Zeke Elliott is a head case and will not have a good pro career. Bad comparison to LF7.

These guys are both beast at running the ball. That is the only thing that is perfectly clear. Both run with elite speed and power.

Dude you're a crackhead. Ya he could have been the #1 Player taken in the draft but in no way what so ever would he be the best back in the NFL. That's one of th dumbest things on the rant and there's a lot of dumb shite on here

How can you do this when LF7 is not even in the NFL yet. Say what you want but the NFL is way different than even the SEC.

There might be better backs in the NFL, but Gurley is the only one from this list that I'd even compare. Charles and Bell can't finish a season, plus Charles is small and Bell can't stay off illegal substances. Elliot is over-rated and unproven. Johnson is good, but part of a prolific offense. Only way LF7 doesn't dominate in the league is if he goes to a horribly mismanaged team, such as Oakland or Cleveland...

And yet almost all top picks go to a really bad team. LF7 is a great running back, but is also unproven in the NFL.

Charles has been healthy for years. Last year was his first major injury. As far as his size, for running backs with enough carries to qualify, he is number one all time in yards per carry. That doesn't even account for what he does in the receiving game. Watch a game on Sunday every now and then

Is this really a debate? LF is a consensus top 5 pick next year.

Plus, Guice could put up Chubb's numbers in that system.
