re: LF7 vs Chubb

How is this even in question? Fournette will be the 1st RB taken in the draft, and could very well be the #1 overall player next year. Every single NFL team would take Fournette before any other RB in the draft this year, at that... dumb discussion is dumb

Our backup is better than Chubb

Chubb is clearly better. He just got injured last year. That's a non biased PAC 12 POV fwiw

Actually McCaffrey was the best all around CFB last season.

Bchristopher, plz post that on the SecR lol. I'm arguing with them right now saying LF is a stronger, more punishing runner and they won't even give me that.

It's an LSU based board. Of course they're going to go to the other side.

Yeah. I'll go with the experts this guy posted instead of the blatant trolls on the SEC rant.

"Chubb" is such an unfortunate surname for someone whose name should evoke speed & agility.
Posted on 7/26/16 at 10:56 pm to RickyDonSkaggs
LF7 is bigger, runs harder, faster, quicker feet, better hands. Other than that, Chubb may be better. There isn't a better back playing on Saturday or Sunday than Fournette, except AP. And Fournette is gaining on him fast

He may be better but there is nothing clear about it.

Chubb was pretty incredible. In a full season LF7 breaks 2k yards, though. Hell he would have done it in 12 games if Les didn't put him on the bench.

Pump the brakes a little
Fournette is a monster no doubt but there are a handful of guys in the league better at this point

I didn't even mention Beastmode. I would take all 5 over LF if playing today. Seriously ??

LF is a great running back. But stop trying to mix CFB & the NFL during the offseason. You look silly.

You think you will find objective responses on the Rant? Chubb is legit. Pre-injury he was putting up great numbers, I can see why some might believe Chubb is (or was) as good or a tiny bit better. I seem to recall a recent article on LF7 and how much support he has given Chubb since the injury and what he thought of him as a player, which says a lot about LF7.
