Who you got?

I'll take LF & DG.

Yes they got that nickname quick

Dalton-James gang

I got their autographs about 20-30 minutes after their first game, at the press conference.

Faulk & Collins not a thing. Collins didn't play enough. Love Faulk though, and Cecil could've been amazing.

I'm 45, so I was young and very impressionable when Hilliard, James were playing, but Fournette and Guice are the best LSU duo of all-time.

I was a freshman with Hilliard and James and I'll definitely take Fournette/Guice over them as the best running back duo.

I just wish Fournette and Guice would each stay 4 years like Hiliard and James. Different time though.

Guice better than James... not even close. James did not like contact.

x 2 .... Collins only played in 4 games before he was dismissed from the team

dude spent 13.5 yrs in prison as I hope he's rehabilitated

his story could easily be an ESPN 30 for 30 special ; however there are thousands of kids across America that ended up just like Cecil .... Eric Jefferson is another strange story of what could have been (Evangel HS)

I would rank them Fournette/Hilliard/Guice/ James though i believe James was the fastest of all!

Dalton is one of my all-time favorites. Probably the most fun to watch run of any RB we've had.

That said, LF and DG are the best RB combo in my Tiger football lifetime ('70 and onward).

How about Dalton-Fournette together in same backfield? Hilliard was better than Guice but they both rarely got tackled on 1st contact. Fournette has been going down on 1st contact a lot lately - maybe b/c of ankle injury, but he is a speedster w power just not very shifty these days. Disappointing in my opinion - especially his performance against Ala. again..... Guice has stepped it up and who knows what could have happened if he were given more than 2 carries against Ala. LF will be all-pro if he stays healthy in NFL that's for sure.

Dalton had a pretty solid career as a pro, too. He also retired with a passing completion percentage of 57.10% and 4 passing TDs.

When he and Eric Martin both joined the Saints, it was great for us LSU fans.

Guice reminds me of Hilliard more than Fournette.

Guice feels out his blocking and has that quick "swivel" that Hilliard was great at. Fournette goes right at you with great power and speed. Guice is a little more shifty, and then explodes.

I don't know if it would have made a difference, but I would like to have seen Guice get more carries in the Bama game.
