Right after Crowton was hired at LSU, an Oregon fan (I think it was an Oregon fan) posted a letter about how we should be worried about him and his trends as an OC...can anyone link that letter please?? TIA

Most of the coaches in the SEC are almost as smart as Urban and they will shut down LSU’s offense. LSU has great athletes and he will find a way to make them look bad.

I've never been a fan of Crwoton from day one. We were told we were getting an innovator and frankly, I never saw anything that even a dumb-arse (like me) couldn't figure out. That said...I think it is only fair to add that the loss of ryan perriloux's uber-talent sabotaged any chance of offensive success for LSU and Crowton in '08-9. I do find serious fault with Crowton for selling Hatch to Miles and therefore wasting critical time in the developement of JJefferson. It wouldn't bother me one bit if Les lets Crowton go after the PennSt game.

They were spot on about that. I didnt expect that to rare its ugly head till year 3 or 4. But it did already.

Ranked 10th in the SEC alone in 3rd down efficiency defense.

do you watch football?

third and long is accomplished 1,000 times every saturday...and probably 75-100 times every Sunday. it's a part of the game...it's called 'making a play'. it's infuriating as hell...but it happens to all teams. the trick is to minimise it's occurance with (in our case) having lb's who refuse to drop their coverage and can eliminate 'yards after catch'.
