The mulligan game against an elite team we had already beaten... no comparison.

first road start for brandon harris. heinous loss.

Which rhymes with "anus", which is where Auburn broke it off that night. Harris sucked, but so did the defense. That game was similar to the one from 2 nights ago.

That is because he took a lot of time off the clock running his toss dives.

If you really think that is more embarrassing than this past weekend, you have no ability to logically process data.

If you can honestly look at any game, from January 2012 to the end of the Auburn game of last year and say that Les Miles was a competent coach, then you are sadly mistaken.

2013 versus aTm was pretty legit - particularly with our defensive woes otherwise that season. Not a Tier 1 aTm team, but they were 9-4, lost to Bama by 7, Auburn by 4, Mizzou (after our game) by 7, and beat a ranked Duke team in their bowl game.

2014 games against Kentucky and aTm were pretty good games.

2015 Auburn and USCe were pretty good. Heck aTm, too - Miles had aTm's number pretty consistently.

You talk a lot of shite, baw. Waiting for support for this particular position (full disclosure, I was for Miles getting replaced).

we were playing for a national title that day. That loss meant we were... #2 in the nation. Oh, the embarrassment of it all

Keep in mind, we just lost to an unranked (respectable but not elite) Miss State team, a program we have thoroughly dominated, by the largest margin in the series' history. Good news for you, we won't run the risk of being embarrassed in any title games this season

He was already counting his NFL money at that point - he gets a pass for that one by the Sabanistas.

lol folks on this boarding saying losses like this "happen ever year".

Only cause Bama didn't have another minute on 1/9 to put more points on the board. That would have been 30-0.

Are we gonna continually compare Miles head coaching abilities and achievements to O's? Cause it's not even close in saying Miles was a much better HC than O ever has been and very very likely ever will be. Why are we even discussing this?

Miles did great things at LSU. Some of our best years ever. But that had run its course and it was time for a new head coach.....a HEAD coach. Not an assistant with a dream. You gotta know your place. O isn't a head coach. He's never been a head coach. He's an assistant. He sold out the whole program so he could live his dream and Alleva bought it. Now we're stuck with the nightmare.

Les is a better coach than O.

But he still wasn't the best we could do. And the reason that loss got so lop-sided is our dearth of talented linemen, the blame for which has to partially reside with Miles.
