yeah, this is stupid. I am glad Les stayed because I don't want to take the unnecessary risk in having alleva make the right call.

however, Alleva should've called Les' bluff. No way this fricking dude leaves us for Arky. If it was the dallas cowboys calling, maybe.

Did you actually read my post? The topic of debate was whether LSU was the best program in the SEC West last season, not whether the season was a "failure."

Do you actually believe that the nation at large regards LSU as having been the best program in the SEC last season after the NCG? Do you think anyone shares that opinion outside of the demented few who post here?

Since when is the nation at large a good rubric for measuring anything?

Not agreeing or disagreeing with you, but frick that's an awful argument.

Good fricking grief, just stop watching football altogether. It's clear you aren't capable of maintaining a healthy or realistic view of things, so just remove yourself from the situation for the good of yourself and all of us.

because it's never happened that a team came into the game unfocused and not prepared to play but comes out in the 2nd half with the right mindset. yeah, that doesn't happen.

The argument is whether or not LSU had the best program in the SEC West last season. It's obvious we didn't based on the result of the NCG. Objective, unbiased observers of CFB who aren't fans of or invested in either program - Bama or LSU - acknowledge this conclusion. Only the grotesquely biased - like Prom and Choctaw - feel otherwise. That's my point.

Do you honestly think i give a frick what the nation at large thinks? We steam rolled one of the toughest regular season schedules in history to win the SEC. You're just too butthurt over 1/9 to appreciate what a great season that was.

Like I said, people keep giving Saban these victories in games that are yet to be played against 2 of the best teams in the country.

And you, moustache are the one who brought up the SEC Championships, so I'm making a point off of yours.

He will make more than Urban, but not saban. He is currently top 5. There's no reason this season earned him a raise.

Doubt it. Urban makes over 5 million. I'd be shocked if Miles gets that.

hen why wouldn't you do it for free?

Honestly, if coaching was my passion and it was my alma mater, i probably would just ask my costs (travel, etc) to be covered after I had made millions. But, I understand those who wouldn't because of the work involved.

I guess I just don't have a love affair with more money. I have no problem with people striving to EARN more money at all.

Uh, because it's my alma mater. I would support this team if we were 0-12. That's the reason I'm pissed. I feel like Les bent over my alma mater and just had his way.

Are you intentionally missing the point? Again, the topic of debate is whether LSU had the best program in the SEC West last season. They didn'tm as demonstrated by the NCG. Unbiased observers agree.

Jimmy Sexton never floats his clients names out there to get them a pay raise.

Yes, they did. They beat Bama at home and Bama received a mercy deal and another shot. It just so happen the game had a title to it.

If anything, Bama wasn't better either like you're insinuating.

again, we won the SECW and the SECC outright last year. convincingly. 1/9 doesn't change that.

2011 SEC Championship Title says LSU was the best in the conference last year. Bama, you, the whole world can argue that bullshite all day, frick them. Does not change the fact that LSU earned that title.

Still waiting on the names of these brilliant coaches that LSU would have no problem landing that would bring LSU a dynasty.

You continue to dodge the question. It's been what? a week now?

It's not hard to answer.
