Dude really? Are you that out of touch with reality. Contracts in sports are not the same as every day contracts that we deal with. They are restructured ALL THE TIME. Doesn't make you a bad person. Actually makes you dumb if you dont get what you can.

I'm not upset. I'm glad he is staying for the recruits and continuity of our program.

But, I'm upset that this fricker has his agent float his name out there every 2 years. (CU, UM twice, Arky) Not to mention the fact that he is complacent with fricking peach bowl seasons and think that he deserves more $ because he barely got by Arky and Ole miss this year, but still lost to our program creator.

You are better than this..........Results are the reason his name is floated.....

I mean a guy who has made about 40 million since 01 and is poised to make close to 4 mil/year going forward is really comparable to our jobs.

Dude, expecting his job to resemble your daily misery of floating sheetrock is really silly.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Les win the SEc and play for a national championship last season? Sounds deserving of a raise to me

Then should have got a raise last season. I wonder if I can get a raise this year based on my performance last year.

I love when certain posters are disappointed.

I also the hypocrisy of people that are outraged when a coach that loses only 3 games in the nations toughest conference wants a raise.

"You want more money?!! Well get us a SEC Champion...wait. Well, get us to the National Champ...wait. Well, no raise for you as long as you lose games. Go undefeated 3 years in a row and MAYBE I'll consider a raise."

I love the righteous indignation of some of the worst posters on the board. It's like vitamins for me. Yummy!

13-1 dude. SEC Champs. Come off your embarrassing high horse. Other schools are laughing at us at how impossible we are toward Les. 99% of the country would die to have the run we've had during Les' time here.

This has nothing to do with Bama or Saban. MOVE ON. We aren't getting Saban back and no other coach is worth even discussing.

I am happy with Les. I'm not happy with giving him a blank check, especially since he's been proven to go full retard here before. (cotards, 08, 09 ole miss, 10 arkansas, etc)

And we lost to bama 21-0, and couldn't beat them in Death valley on a saturday night. And we're going to the peach bowl. Sure, give the guy a blank check. He should give his agent a kiss on the mouth, if he was a girl.

Do you even remotely understand how business works? There are things called negotiations. Look it up.

No correction needed. That is correct, and if we are using SEC championships as a measure in this contest, Les has won more recently than Saban has. He has played in 3 and won 2.

People have already given Saban credit for 2 unplayed games: 2012 SEC championship and 2012 BCS National Championship.

If you want to crown his arse, then crown him

No one is going to be truly miserable as a result of an LSU coaching situation.

That being said, better to be a dissatisfied fan in search of excellence who believes that LSU is capable of sustained dominance than a trembling milquetoast who thinks we should all be satisfied with second best because it's all lil old LSU deserves.

To quote John Stuart Mill: "It is better to be a human being dissatisfied than a pig satisfied; better to be Socrates dissatisfied than a fool satisfied. And if the fool, or the pig, are a different opinion, it is because they only know their own side of the question."

So you hate him because he became a coach and you're still the fry guy at BK?

No. I dislike the way he is making a top 5 salary and acts like he did something this year to deserve a raise. Urban and Nick should get paid more than him because they both had better seasons and they have more balls.

You better learn about the power broker of the SEC coaches, because Saban has him cry and put out Saban name for x job.

Sabam has done that since his 2 nd year at LSU.
