I have heard they met up and ate at Margaritaville in Bossier City (TW's mom works there).

Can't say for sure how it went but Les was apparently trying to keep the CB.

I was disappointed in him in big games this year. He may very well be a first rounder but I just didn't see the "it" factor as compared to others @ DBU.

"Come and be a part of LSU history"

Potentially the best crop of DB's EVER with a top 10 DC taking over that loves to blitz.

I'm about 99.99% sure the bill was on the house.

You can never blame a kid for leaving if he's a first rounder.

He should leave if he got a first round grade.

I assume he talks to all juniors about staying or going.

He would anyways. That's not really a specific selling point to TW. He likely needs to get into the draft stock, and how the new scheme might benefit his performance and result in more $$$.

I would assume so, but I can say that Les told everyone he came in contact with to show TW some love.

He's definitely not a first round lock anymore, very possible he falls into the second round based on projections I've seen. I wouldn't blame him for leaving though. Selfishly, I'd love him back at LSU.

Because he's a completely diff type of CB as those other guys were. PP and TM were playmakers out there. Tre White is a pure sticky cover CB. And a damn good 1 at that. You don't notice him out there because he's rarely tested and does his job. When Revis was in his prime, you wouldn't notice him on the field either because teams didn't look his way. But that doesn't mean he's not a damn good CB.

Tre White had a good year. People say that he got worked vs Treadwell, yet they didn't even watch the game. Vs Ole Miss he was targeted 8 times and only gave up 3 catches for 40yards. And that's against Treadwell, the best WR in the country, for most of the game. Sure he got a TD on him, but that happens to every CB that has ever played. And he did very good vs DRunnya until the last 2 drives of the game. Pretty much shut him out the entire game. Cooper had 6 targets with Tre White on him last year and only caught 1 pass for 7 yards. Hell, only 23.4% of the passes agaisnt him were completed in the entire 2014 season. That's an unreal number.

He's very very good and it would be HUGE if we could get him back.

The players really believe they can win a championship. White is probably most reasonable guy
to leave though.

Who are the two all Americans?

Once upon a time we had PP7, TM7, mo Claiborne, Eric Reid, Brandon Taylor, and Ron brooks .

Good analogy KG. He is a very solid CB, and if he is 1st/2nd round graded that's great money. IMO he seems like a small corner but has good make up speed. I think Mo was a better prospect coming out early and more of a play maker than Tre, and he's been about average in Dallas making a career though. But again if Tre's grade is high, he gotta go. The fact of the matter is a small percentage of college players coming out of high school is to make a living playing pro football. If you get the chance you should take it.

FOREVER LSU

Adams and White if he returns???

then you have 2 freshmen who got better as the year went on. DT13 coming back on top of the ridiculous DB class we're hauling in PLUS the talent on the bench.

Will be the best DB group since 11
