From a Longhorn fan in Austin I want to express my sorrow in hearing of the death Les Miles' sister. I read the article in the Advocate and, sadly,it sounded like it was avoidable. That makes it even more tragic. My prayers are with Les and his family right now.

Les Miles and family please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. I once heard a priest say in a sermon that there can be no Easter without Good Friday. Your Good Friday has come in a very personal and tragic way on the very day the suffering and death of Our Lord is recognized.
Our Lord promised us that death was not the end and that he came to pay a ransom to free those that believe in Him. He made good on His promise and claimed victory over death. Hope Browne has had her Good Friday and now celebrates her Easter. We pray that the Miles/Browne family take comfort in the promise of Faith made good.

T&P from Aggieland. CLM is a class guy that has always praised Aggieland when asked. So sorry to hear of his loss

Well said, CajunTiger92.
"Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let Perpetual Light shine upon her."
May the Browne and Miles families take strength in their faith.
I'm reminded by this of what serious business driving is, and not to take it for granted. Life is too valuable.

God bless the Brown and Miles families.
I live in Sugar Mill. Talked to a cop yesterday (before the accident occurred) because we've been trying to get a red light at the intersection for a while. He said that wrecks occur there on a weekly basis and when they are called out, they usually ask if its the Sugar Mill intersection again. But this is not the thread to discuss it.

How so? I've driven through there many times, it doesn't seem notably dangerous. No disrespect intended to the deceased, but the news report implies she wasn't paying full attention when she turned - a sadly common mistake but it has nothing to do with the intersection.
