I don't get the rational for letting Miles go this year. Sure 7-3 is not good, but he's won a national title and lost a national title game.

Worst case he finishes 7-5 this year, but give him another year before you seek to replace him.

Great idea, let's not see the writing on the wall and react accordingly. Instead, let's let him completely put the program in the ditch.

I agree, especially with the young, talented team he's got lined up. It's been rough to watch our team for a couple of years, but Miles has been good for us and I think he deserves a chance to show us Fournette and Harris (not to mention Steele's defense and half the O line) after they've had a year of starting experience. To chase him out for under-performing with such a young team seems short-sighted.

I think the plan was to give him one more year if they couldn't find a stud to replace him, and then they found that stud.

Who are we going to get that's better than Miles or shows potential to be better?

Pat Narduzz?

Jimbo and Dabo are NOT coming here. I don't see any slam dunk hires out there?

I don't trust Joe Alleva to find and sign a competent replacement.

it was the manner that he lost the national championship game. Sorry, 11 seasons is enough.

You can't be serious. We would get completely shut out in recruiting next year. I can't believe some of you. Lame duck coaches kill programs. Ask Texas.
