You can tell a lot about a Les Miles coached team by his demeanor at the press conferences. When he knows his team is good he has an air of confidence about him.
He also screws with the media more.

And if you listen he akways mentions getting a degree and competing in the classroom. Not enough ciaches are like that.
les's players get their degrees. they come back and finish them if they go nfl early. the man is more than a head football coach; he assists his "charges" in life. for the record, i said this in '09 when many wanted him taken out back and shot.
he knows what he is..... a football coach of COLLEGE players. he actually cares for his players and they care for him.

hey-hey there, name caller. Calling me or les stupid doesn't change the opinion of many ranters.
Les is the best person for the job at lsu, period. I believe this no matter what.

His mental apptitude and use of phonics is far beyond anything you will ever realize.
You sir, are the arse. Not coach miles.

So apparently you decided to take over the spot he vacated.

Dear Lloyd Christmas:
1. You are a cock bite.
2. Hopefully, cancer of the heart finds you soon.
If you'd have sat through some of the Curley years...the Archer years.....the years when a successful season was measured by if we spoiled someone else's season, you'd never say that about CLM.
Don't me wrong. I'd love to drink a beer with him, and ask him wtf he was thinking during the NC game. He's not infallable. But to even suggest that this guy is not a GREAT coach is absolutely absurd. Did you freaking WATCH last year's regular season man?
I loved CNS. He too, was an awesome coach. That said, give me CLM ANY and EVERY FREAKIN DAY over CNS. Do you know how powerful a statement he made to us when he turned down Michigan? CNS, IMHO, got on the phone w/his freakin agent after EVERY big win.
CLM is OUR guy. Please, for the love of God, give this man the degree of love that he's given this University. His record alone deserves that.

You're right. My post lacks class. Forgive me, but considering it was in response to someone posting that a coach who has had the most successful career in the history of his school was either retarded, or had a learning disability, I figured something of a classless nature was all you'd understand.
I typically avoid these lil' e-spats. But I have had a belly full of the Miles bashing, because to bash the guy nowadays, you've striclty got to be on of those assholes that just refuses to be wrong.
In 2008 and 2009, when he lost 5 and 4 games respectively, and for the first time playing with guys that he generally recruited, the Miles haters came out of the wood work. I still had faith in him at that time, but at least I could understand how folks would perceive him as a "drop off" from Saban. Y'all had reason to bitch then. Now, you don't.
This man has, without the help of CNS, his assitants, or aura, turned LSU in the premier place at which college football is played.
Run the math. Look at Les Mile's record, and even TAKE OUT HIS TWO MOST SUCCESSFUL SEASONS, then compare the winning percentage to CNS during his 5 year tenure. Know what you'll find? CLM is just a tad better.
I read retarded statements on this forum daily. Most I let slide. Yours? I'm not. You're wrong. The numbers don't correspond to your assertions. The man's a little goofy, sure.....but he's OUR goofy coach - the goofy one that wins a little better than 80% of the times his boys tee it up. His players love him. He represents the school well. He's jovial, and non-assholish ala CNS (who, btw, is the SECOND best coach in college football).
Bash him all you want. Them more you do, the dumber you look.

[quote]Les Miles is no dummy. He just doesn't convert any information to the media he doesn't want them to know..."
Well said. He is purposely vague and speaks in riddles with the media and probably enjoys seeing the perplexed looks on their faces like they are trying to solve the riddle.
