Move on.
Fournette, Honey Badger, and OBJ aren't here anymore, either. Should we ignore them too?

You're certainly entitled to disagree, but everything I saw about Les Miles made me think he was a very good man. Comments from players and their families guide my opinion, but also Les's comments and conduct with his family.
But if you disagree, there was a young man named Sid Ortis, for example, who thought a lot of Miles. He's gone now, but ask Sid's family. I think they would vouch for him.

why do you think this?
I'm not saying he's a saint, I'm sure he had his problems. But name one thing that shows you character flaws.
In pretty sure everyone that ever came across les miles thought very highly of him.

I wanted Miles fired.
However, he was a class act while at LSU and represented the school well, running a clean program. He still supports LSU.
He was never an articulate spokesman for the University and that is a drawback as the prominent face of the institution ( we didn't exactly upgrade on that point with DaCoachO).
BUT, moms, pops and recruits loved Les Miles or he would not have had the success he enjoyed, as best I can tell his players strongly supported him as well.
I'm glad LSU moved on but I appreciate Les Miles as a good man.
I agree with all of this. He wasn't the best coach ever, but he in no way deserves to be bashed. Some of you people are just assholes.

How dare anyone question the character of a coach who lied to get a bigger buyout from the school you supposedly love...

frick Les the bum, couldn't recruit, held no player accountable, only won because of Nick Saban's players, once he had his own he declined. Dude was a walking talking embarrassment to the city and the state of LSU football. LSU made him and is lucky LSU is paying him, no school wants the bum.

At this point, if you're still shitting on him then you kinda sound like a little bitch.
He kept the program top-tier for a decade. Is he Saban? Not at all, but the man left us with talent and got us nowhere near any severe violations. Hats off to him.
And I wanted him gone 2 years ago...

About sums it up for me.

I think Les has a medical issue. Regardless, he was a great rep for LSU

Some of you guys need to get a fricking life. Miles was a highly successfull coach and his players loved him. He is a likeable guy but some if you have always had some personal problem with Les. At this point, it is you that have the problem. Not Les Miles.

You're the one knocking a guy's character with nothing to back it up. Trigger, snowflake, cuck... Anything else profound for me?
Les climbed down the state building for charity, kissed a pig, passionately argued for Russell Shepard when the media attacked him, constantly brought up his family at press conferences, made family life the center of his life and was able to successfully balance coaching at a high level and being a good father, was constantly praised by those in the media, players, peers, and staff for being a good person, etc.
Maybe if you're father would have been half the dad that Les is, you wouldn't be such a miserable c*nt.
You were the child of a broken home, the oldest, or only child cause you feel the need to make an arse of yourself to get attention? Maybe you should be the one seeking a trigger, and look inward toward yourself when you do

I really like the guy, but I think he had some type of health issue a few years back that affected him mentally & it was covered up.

So you're entire argument is that Les is a bad person because Joe Alleva kept him around too long, his family attended his game/cheered for him when they thought it was his last game, camera men did their jobs, and the players that loved him carried him off the field?
It isn't your money Joe Alleva pissed away, nor is it Les' fault for being kept around too long and paid with a fat check.
I suppose you blame Lottery winners for being at the right place at the right time?
I bet you were the guy who kicked rocks, cussing the guys that went home with hot girls all the time because it wasn't fair that they didn't like you and your optimistic, charismatic, and magnetic personality?
I guarantee you are the type that blames everything in life on someone else.
Jerry Springer is to blame for trailer parks?
Guns murder people, but not other people?
If you tripped over a trees' root you would sue the park because its not your responsibility to watch where you step?
It's your parents fault you have intimacy issues?
Cherry on top - you arent in control of your life, so you have to read astrology to tell you what your month will be like?

Classic deflection. I suppose it is the only move you can make when the truth hurts, and your logic has been dismissed to the children's table.

Your logic is he's a great man.
I say anyone who would lie about taking a job at R Kansas to get a bigger buyout then lying to get another year isn't a good moral compass.
