Why are they bringing Les on the show?

Les is that noisy trumpet that you want to quiet down because he thinks he is good and sticks out like a sore thumb. This is speaking as a football coach.

This is good to know. Most posters around here are just a bunch of coaching wannabees who just parrot what they hear at the bar.

Where did you coach?

Not to mention, he's so fricking stubborn that he's trying to cherry pick the job he wants, and those employers don't want him.

Don't a lot of people in this world try to cherry pick the jobs they want? I mean...I could clean toilets for a living, but I don't want to. And I'd like to think that it's not because I'm stubborn.

Why can't both be true? I didn't hear the full conversation on either of those 2, but maybe #2 caused #1. They anticipated Harris to continue to develop, but when he didn't they were planning on starting the season with Etling. Then something happened where the decided to start Harris until they thought Etling was ready.

Jeeez where have you been? That scenario just doesn't fit the "Les is the worst coach in history" of the Rantards. Facts, common sense, and reason have no place here.

Nothing beats the whopper he concocted about the clock in the Ole Miss game. CYA Les.

If anyone remembers, Etling had a "hitch in his giddy- up" according to Miles...this might have something to do with Harris starting? What ya think?
