STFU RANTARDS..

The guy is a RS freshman, he played bad against the no.1 team in the nation, but also had some good throws, including a nice pass to d.byrd..you people continue to amaze me with "get rid of this garbage qb" comments, even though the poor guy is just a frosh trying his arse off to help the team win, and just because he gets rattled(which comes with being new to the system, being a freshman, etc.) you guys bash him like it's the end of the world..

so what if jj makes some bad throws?? What if JJ had been named the starter, threw some awful passes like a lot of freshman do,would you all be calling for his head also?

For the last GD time, give the dude a break..we weren't going to go undefeated this season..a 3rd NC is nice but that does not mean we will stay on top like some delusional bama fans think they forever will..it's the SEC, and we have a freshman at QB, so don't get all surprised like you never expected any of the interceptions or bad plays to happen..let it go..

And for the love of all things with Jesus' name in it..can we PLEASE STOP BOOING LEE??? I mean im sure the students don't care..seeing as most are drunk as shite..but that would be pretty acceptable if the guy was a JR. or SR. and just plain sucked..fact is..he just hasnt lived up to his potential yet..

The guy has a rocket for an arm, and though he makes some bad decisions, i beleive that his game management skills will change with time and he will be the next flynn, mauck type(except with a better arm).

Don't quit on him yet

He is a freshman starting when he wasnt even expecting too. I admit i bashed on him during the game but he is a young player. He was thrown into this season a year or 2 too early.

No question, the collective football IQ of our fanbase is the lowest it's ever been. It's reflected on this board and in the stands. It is embarassing.

Find me a freshman QB not named Peyton Manning to come into the SEC and beat 3 top 10 teams in his first year starting. The fact that Lee has us in position for 10 wins should be applauded, instead our moronic fans want the kid to transfer.

I WANT to believe, but he hasn't improved at all from the Auburn game.
SAME mistakes in every game. Focuses on ONE receiver. Does not seem to recognize blitzes and check out. Yes, he has all the physical tools. Great arm and size, but I am not sure he has the mental game.

yeah..hell i throw my hands up every now and then when he makes bad throws..but you have to have that reassuring "he's just a freshman" thought in the back of your mind..it cools things off a bit

I can't wait to see him as a JR. & SR.

Hopefully we will be contending for our 4th NC then

Lee is the worst quarterback at LSU since I was a freshman in 1958. Did Les Miles and Gary Crowton recruit him? Three more years of this and someone will pay someone $6 million to leave.

and im sure the guy wants nothing more than to earn the fans respect here..but hell, even payton manning threw 20 something interceptions as a freshman..

i'm positive he will get better as he gets older & more familiar with the system

I dont think he will ever make it. He wont be a #1 QB. I think the freshman coming in might have a better chance to play depending their skill.

what the hell do you expect when starting a freshman? one bad season(which is only a probable 3 losses)and just shut down the program, huh?

yeah, i dont think he will be the starter either, that's why i referred to him as a mauck or flynn type that i think could be a clutch backup if something happened..by then there will be no excuses, but i guess time will tell..

I could see a rotation of Jefferson & Lee..sort of like the Flynn & Perrilloux of last year..guess we'll have to see how shep's impact affects all of this though, cause ill admit it's gonna get damn interesting

He played equally as bad against Tulane, which tells me that regardless of competition, he's just not very good.

I'd be asking to see what Lee could do. It's not some out of this world idea to want to look at another QB when the current one is so poor.

Agree, except Bama is a game we should've won. That's the first game that Lee REALLY cost us. Single handedly, he lost it.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa, I don't think anyone booed him Saturday. He got cheers during the opening lineups and wasn't even really booed after terrible throws. He will get booed against Troy though, sadly.

Because he's white, eh? Dude has a Marcus Randall arm and brain without the mobility. Good thing is, Marcus was a senior, so hopefully Lee will improve.

I won't, but I will say this, Lee does not give us an opportunity to win right now. All a QB has to do when push comes to shove, is manage the football game. Jarrett Lee does not manage the game at this point in the season. He may one day, but he doesn't right now. We didn't need Tim Tebow to beat Bama this weekend, but we did need someone to keep the mistakes and positives even. He didn't. His mistakes greatly dwarfed his positives, which is why we lost.

this is my biggest problem with lee. i expect mistakes from a rs freshman, but making the same mistakes over and over and over again is a little disheartening.

Don't count on Shep to be the savior, the guy is an athlete, but does't have a good arm. you'd be looking at the opposite, a guy that can run, but can't pass. I'll take my chances with Lee. I'm holding out!

This is completely false. No he doesn't have a JR cannon, but he throws it with just as much zip as Lee and threw a TD bomb on national t.v. in 1 game this year.

the game is a blur to him right now, but that will get better

even with the game way too fast, he is still making plays. the TD to Byrd was as great a pass as we have seen since JRuss left

my complaint is why did we throw it 34 times?
