You one of Chicken's alters?
Let's hope that Miles learned this lesson after catering far too much to Jefferson. It compromised the organinzation.

3. The organization is more important than the individual - I know this sounds harsh, but it's absolutely true. The minute you start making decisions to try to please individual interests, the more you'll compromise the organization as a whole. Individuals may not understand it, but the best interests of the organization must be the primary force behind any decision.

leadership in most positions doesnt have to worry about the emotions of millions of people looking in from the outside, which is going on here
those millions of people are in grief
someone posted yesterday the stages of grief
most are still in the anger stage
personally im in the acceptance stage
some people get to the acceptance stage much faster than others
some people will never reach the acceptance stage
thats just another thing we have to accept

No hammering from me. Good post. In the words of the immortal Atticus Finch:
"You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view - until you climb into his skin and walk around in it."

So leaders of organizations don't make errors or lack judgement or common sense sometimes!?
You are a stupid arse simply for the reason you think that leaders have all the right answers all the time.
Let me tell you about leadership....a real leader isn't afraid to admit his idea is wrong and maybe someone else, even a subordinate, might have an easy fix to the issue.
Your novel out of the way, Do you think the football team needed a change of pace on offense during the game? Be a leader and answer a simple yes or no!

LOOK AT ME EVERYBODY I READ BOOKS ON HOW TO LEAD B/C I'M NOT ACTUALLY A LEADER AND I PISS AWAY MONEY ON COMMON SENSE!

I was a team captain for a football team on the playground at recess when I was younger. Does that count?

I am a leader too and you are dead on. You must have a life too...300 posts in all those years. Some of the dudes on here have no life...do they actually think whining on a message board is good for LSU football...it just makes them feel better, because all they have to feel success about in themselves is the prowess of 18-22 year olds playing football in their hometown, where many were born, live and will die. Alabama wanted to get another crack at LSU bad and was jacked about it. For LSU, it sucked bad, because they wanted anybody but bama. I knew it was trouble and had been hoping beyond hope that it would be Okie St, VA Tech or Oregon, but no...and AR had Bama on the ropes and got conservative and "let em off the hook."
To get on here and Say CLM didn't care, that he has vendetta's against players, etc is embarrassing!! Thanks for the post.
