Nick Saban had Joe Addai backing up Justin Vincent and often times Alley Broussard our championship year. Look what Joe Addai is doing in the pros, and does any know what JV and Alley Cat are doing? That must mean Nick Saban is a dumb arse and lacks all evaluation of talent according many of yall
Wow...How can you make this comparison? Vincent was an absolute stud in 2003, I mean he was a preseason All-American coming into 04, as a sophomore. Then he decided to get out of shape and stopped working hard and put on weight. Saban proceeds to bench him and Alley emerges as a stud setting the LSU record for a single game against Ole Miss. Then Alley blew out his knee and became the first RB to occupy Les' doghouse in 05. He then took a page from Vincent and put on weight.
Now let's take a look at Keiland. Lead back as a freshman at the end of 06, rushes for over 100 yards in a BCS bowl game and then is relegated to the bench for the rest of his career eventhough he still had great games. Not similar at all.

it makes about as much sense as someone saying Blue shouldnt be playing over Ford because Ford was more highly recruited

It proves that you and your other fellow JL homers don’t know shite from a hole in the ground.
I'm for JJ...and you suck at logic

Haha. Do not commend Ford for his performance because it was a glorified practice.
BUT
Do not condemn JJ because it was a glorified practice.
I bet, if the players read any of this shite, they probably throw up when they see that you're riding their balls this way. If you want JJ to play, that is fine. So do I. But get off his nuts.

I'm not trying to compare Joe Addai and Keiland Williams college career nor am I trying to predict how their professional career will compare. I am saying that a lot people in this thread are saying it is all Les Miles fault that KW is a back up running back in the pros but didn't have a spectacular college career. I'm saying it is not all Les Miles fault. Joe Addai is having a good pro career but wasn't the every game starter at LSU but nobody is blaming Saban. Just because a running back has a good pro career and didn't have a great college career doesn't mean that the college coach is to blame and has bad evalution of talent. Except if your Les Miles, which I guess in his case if your a rookie running back and you make a team but didn't always play in college then your an awful coach

Everybody screaming that Les hosed KW seems to forget he made some big plays, but for the most part never was able to see daylight to run to.
Most blatant example I remember was against App State, Keiland got in the game in the red zone, and and we stalled out- I remember several runs where he just danced around in the backfield, when there was plenty of open field.
One was a toss sweep to the right, and he easily had the corner, and instead cut right into a linebacker.
Scott was more decisive in his runs.

Sounds like Micheal Ford is next in line to be hosed
Except that Keiland actually produced when he was on the field as a Freshman.
We really don't anything about Ford at this point.

That's pretty bad considering he was the team's offensive MVP in the spring.
There is a reason why he went from #2 or 3 to #5 in the pecking order.
Either Blue and Ware are that good, or he did something wrong (as in performance) since the spring.
