There are a lot of pitchers in the majors with two pitches. What's your point?

The second homer he give up. He just didn't give a crap on that pitch. He just tried to over power the guy with a chest high fastball right over the plate. That was the one pitch you cant throw in that spot but he did it anyway and that little guy took him out of the park. That tells me a lot about him.

It's pretty simple. He set himself a high standard his freshman year and hasn't lived up afterward. He can be good at times (see last week vs. WSU), but he's more average then good now.

I think we can all agree he has not met the lofty expectations from his freshman year.
Lange has a good fastball...not great...and a wipeout breaking ball. His change is nothing special.
His main issues have been lack of command and consistency. SEC caliber hitters will mash a straight 93 mph fastball...especially when they are looking for it.
I am now willing to say that Lange has not developed as I thought he would given his freshman year.
Is it Dunn? Is it Lange?
Idk...what I do know is what you see is what you get and the inconsistency will likely continue throughout the season.

Some real jackasses dogging on a kid who pitches his heart out. Yes, He has struggled in situations, but how many of you all have ever played at his level? How many of you GUTLESS SPORTS BAR HEROES....HAVE THE GUTS TO SAY WHAT YOU COWARDLY POST TO HIS FACE? I THINK THAT LANGE KNOWS HE HAS NOT BEEN CONSISTENT THIS YEAR. BUT THE WAY SOME OF YOU TRASH SOME OF THE PLAYERS ON THIS TEAMS MAKE ME SICK!! AND QUIT SAYING "WE" YOU DON'T SUIT UP AND PLAY!!

I can't speak for anyone else but I played in the SEC in the early to mid '90's.

Name me some starting pitchers in the majors that throw only 2 pitches??? Closers and short relief yes but MLB starting pitchers all have more than 2 pitches and all throw multiple variations and speeds of the pitches they throw.

If you're only throwing 2 pitches in the majors, you're either a bullpen guy or both have +++ location with a fastball around 96+. Neither of his pitches does he locate exceptionally well and he can hardly locate the curve

I regret that I can only give you 1 down vote. In case it's not clear, I think you are a fricking idiot.
