Sorry to disappoint GeeOH.

Common dude. I'm not disappointed in that info. His own attorney named him a suspect. Not me.

This was handle incorrectly by his agent and or attorney from the jump. Should have showed up pre draft and he would be drafted today, IMO.

Ignoring was stupid and attorney publicly saying the were trying to prove his alibi was the death sentence for the NFL. It screams "suspect".

But I am happy the Tiger Rag is now the voice for the investigation.

i'm not hoping he was involved.

i'm just not going to deny the suspiciousness of this whole ordeal just bc he is a former Tiger.

Saying things like he's innocent until guilty is beyond retarded. Every criminal is innocent before guilty.

The deceased woman's daughter heard her arguing with a man whose voice she didn't recognize about using the deceased woman's car. Lets not forget that. Nothing about this situation says this was a murder for hire. Rather, this seems to be a murder involving two people who had a personal relationship. That relationship could be a familial one, romantic, or some other type of personal relationship like a coworker.

wouldn't proving an alibi disprove you as a suspect? I'm confused.

Let's say my neighbor gets murdered while I'm on vacation, are you saying that if I attempted to prove my alibi I would be a suspect? This is just stupid.

Where did you get that it was her daughter who witnessed that?

Best move he can make at this point. Dont give the NFL teams anything, they had the chance to select him but decided against it but instead made the #1 selection who has a sexual assault charge against him and facing additional legal problems an instant millionaire. Tampa, Seattle, Denver and Dallas all selected players with questionable character issues

This situation is unique

It's only unique in the fact that his attorney has made public statements, and even that isn't unique when high profile individuals are involved. Nothing has happened in this case that hasn't happened in bazillions of others....

I don't think that it's a good idea to identify the witness.

Are you serious? His attorney has said MULTIPLE times he wasn't a suspect.

It screams "suspect".

But he was not a suspect, and contrary to your own statement, you labelled him a suspect. Just because something that "screams suspect" doesn't mean he is one. ESPECIALLY after multiple media outlets and the police publicly said he was not.

You are either extremely stupid or incapable of understanding very basic English.

Yea. If the interview went as well as his attorney is claiming, I'm a little confused on the delay. I understand wanting to get everything in order before meeting, but it seems like the interview was rather short and straightforward.

Well, he arrived late last week and the investigators reportedly pushed off the interview until today.

lsuhunt555 it seems some people want La'el to be guilty of this heinous crime while the police say he isn't even a suspect. I've done with this issue involving La'el.

My gut feeling is that the police spoke to La'el at the behest of the victim's family. Nothing seems to suggest their discussion with La'el was of pressing concern to solving this crime.
