How relatable is a 75 year old to a bunch of 19 year olds, legend or not?

Considering he coached in the league they're all trying to get too; probably pretty relatable....idiot.

He's not going out for beers with them after the game.

As a teacher? Motivator?

2nd to none.

The players clearly respect CEO. CEO respects and loves Coach Jenkins. The man is a DL coaching legend. These 19 year olds all want to make it to the next level. What there is to relate is success in future endeavors.

He's their coach idiot. Not some outsider trying to become friends and go have beers with them.

You must have never played or even watched many sports.

Greg Gilmore has been working with Pete for a long time. I suspect he's not our only defensive lineman that has.

Greg Gilmore's "Medicine Man"

quote:

Even since he’s gotten to LSU, senior defensive lineman Greg Gilmore has thought of Pete Jenkins as a medicine man.

“I call coach Pete for medicine sometimes,” Gilmore said. “When you’re sick, you go to the doctor. When you have technique problems, he helps you envision them in ways that help you get it down a little better.”
