Pete Jenkins will find you and beat your arse. I hope that he doesn't see this.

between that and "powah owah" we are going to need interpreters on the payroll

We already have them on retainer from the Miles era but at least this time there is actually content to interpret.

I don't think he's there to be relatable. Sometimes being able to coach really well is enough for a coaching job.

You think bellicheck is relatable?

Pete was DL coach when I was in school: If I'm not mistaken, he coached:
Leonard Marshall
Ramsey Dardar
Bill Elko
Roland Barbay
Henry Thomas
Karl Wilson
Karl Dunbar
Tommie Clapp

I was all smiles when I saw that he was on staff. One of the all-time great DL coaches.

This really isn't worth responding to, but here goes...... The man is the best in the business and still gives coaching to the ones wanting to have the best shot getting to the NFL. If you would have bothered to read the MANY posts explaining all this just in this thread from the many true Tiger fans who knows this man's worth to LSU over the years, you'd already have your answer and wouldn't have looked like a fool. Reading these posts or a quick Google search would have prevented such a dumb response, but hey that's just me. All you need to know is that this man has bled purple and gold since he was a youngster listening to them on WWL a LONG time ago. He's here to work under his 6th LSU Tiger coach to help the team. Take that in and go share it with the rest of your idiot friends questioning the man.

A history lesson for the younger whippersnappers. This is from 10 years ago (AFTER he already retired once or twice.)

LINK

A quick sample of his work with the Eagles defense. He coached D Line there for 2006-2008 seasons.

2005 - pre-Jenkins - ranked 22nd
2006 - ranked 15th (Jenkins 1st year)
2007 - ranked 10th (Jenkins 2nd year)
2008 - ranked 3rd (Jenkins 3rd year)
2009 - post-Jenkins- ranked 12th.

Notice a trend?

Next time you see Mr Jenkins, make damn sure you thank him for coming back to help us out one more time.

Coach Jenkins brings confidence and stability to a team of young men that might just need some right now. Seeing that he has worked with young men all his life, he knows more about young people than young people know about themselves. That's why they call him 'Coach'.

'We're a team, we'll be fine, now let's get to work.'
