Getting excited for LA tech is about as excited I get before a 7th grade football game.

From that thread. See what I mean
Greatest win in tech history was a narrow loss to a bad LSU team.

I seem to remember the last time we went to Tigger Stadium. We were a 3 & 5 team with nine starters out and our top two offensive players hurting and we were winning at half time. They did beat us but by 8 points with back-to-back holding calls by SEC refs. We are a better team than played that night. Would we win? Who knows, but they would know they were in a game unlike Townsend State, this weeks opponent.

This is not unique to this year. They always think this. They are as delusional, if not more, than the people in Lafayette and they hate LSU just as much.

You guys sound like Longhorns fans now.

So what does that make the Tech fans?

I think there is a meth problem around Ruston. As an alumnus I am worried.

but don't believe for a second that if last week's LSU and Tech teams played, that LSU could have lost that game

Living in Lafayette, I thought ULL had some seriously delusional fans. This is rich

Against Auburn, they scored less than half the points that ULM did. Consequently our offense wouldn't have to score much.

Come to the Joe. Teams just don't walk into the Joe and walk out with an easy win. LSU may pull it off based on depth, but it would be a dog fight.....

Damn shame they keep score at football games ...... lets give La Tech a participation ribbon and send them home feeling good about themselves.

As bad as Les wanted to make it.

Tech played LSU close one time. It was one of tge worst LSU teams in years with horrible version of Jarret Lee.

It would be much more like 03 and 07.

You remember those games?
