They have the a 2 seed in the WBB tournament and can’t fill the stadium. Fans don’t really show up for their NFL teams unless it’s the playoffs as well.

It was always more of a Lakers/Dodgers town.

So how long until the NFL teams leave LA again?

I’m not impressed at all with ucla

Not enough athletes.

LSU should beat them by at least 8-10

I was in LA last month, total shite show. People are miserable there. They could care less about education and colleges

Lived in LA for years -- I can confirm this

UCLA looks VERY beatable esp if Flau Jae can defend / shut down Kiki and Angel keeps the giant 6-7 girl in check w/o fouling

Ironic thing about that game is Creighton was color coordinated with the UCLA court.

Crowd was 3.5× higher than LSU vs. North Texas.
NIT, but still better than some of the men's SEC games too.

Rice looks like good player.

I thought UCLA looked much better than Iowa. It’s going to be a good game.

Bruh, just stop.

I'm here right now. In fact, I went to the game at Pauley tonight. Nobody is miserable, and I assure you people here DO care about education.

With that being said, from what I saw in person tonight, I think UCLA is a very good team, but not nearly as athletic as the teams LSU is used to seeing in the SEC. Rice is the key to the team, if we can slow her down, we'll win the game. I think Angel can handle Betts, who is a less athletic version of Cardoso, and Morrow will eat Jaquez alive.

I do hope Reese can stay out of foul trouble while she defends Betts. I have tremendous confidence in KM and I'm thrilled that she coaches for LSU!

Neither looked good but you know what you’re getting playing Iowa. Cc is going for 30 regardless

I saw no one from ucla that made me say, “oh shite, she’s gonna be a problem”

They didn’t have real athletic guards to me this is a game where HVL should have a better chance at being a difference maker

LA is just like Miami in that regard. They’ll only show up if it’s a major sport and if the team is a legit title contender.

WBB will never draw a crowd in LA. Doesn’t matter how good they are. They could be South Carolina good it won’t matter.

LA may be a bad sports town but using WBB as a gauge?
Who’s fighting traffic for that?

And even for them they get there late and leave early.
