About time players start driving over PM with the bus.

No offense to Kramer but you hit .232 and slugged .286 on a team full of good to great hitters. That's why you lost your spot. The guy that replaced you hit .278 and slugged nearly .500.

Which starter finished the year with a lower OB% than KRob?
You really think that would have happened had he had a season's worth of ABs against SEC pitching?

I can't predict what would have happened. He could just as easily worked through his struggles and had his numbers go up.
Some players were allowed to do that, Kramer was not.

He only hits good in the cape league. He batted over .300 there last year

Maybe he needs to transfer to a team in Massachusetts.

Fine, but using stats like he finished with a higher OBP than someone who played in every game is pretty useless. That's like saying Bouman finished with a higher BA than Bregman.

No he didn't.
ETA: After checking out his 2014 Cape Cod stats, I see that he only had 4 RBIs in 112 ABS

It's no secret that both of those guys struggled during the postseason. It always happens to a few people every year. I wish players could learn to time their slumps better.

Let's not forget Bregman was in a 0-15 funk. I guess we should have plugged Robertson in at SS

No but he should have been batting 8th.

quote:I agree. Not sure what the frick was going on with them. As of late it seems that some of our best hitters throughout the season decide not to show up in the postseason. It's definitely frustrating.
