Three straight games of F gradings all over the place. Gee, I haven't seen that since... the 90's?

This is painful to read.

I'm sure it hurt Jim even more to write it.

Pumpers say we are heading back to the 90's if Les is fired.

I say we are already there.

We aren't even close to the 90s. Geez how dumb are you mfers? In the 90s we were excited as hell for... 8 wins and an independence bowl.

Get out of here young man, you don't know what you're talking about.

We haven't reached that point yet, but we are surely trending towards that direction. And guess what bowl we'll likely end up in this year.....Independence Bowl. Are you excited yet?

QUARTERBACK: D-

Whatever strides Brandon Harris made in running the team during the early part of the season aren't showing up. At times he throws the ball well but the percentage of those times isn't high enough for LSU to beat anyone. He doesn't have the body language of a team leader. He got one delay of game and argued with the referee about the call despite calling the timeout after the play clock had run out. Later, he caused another penalty by rushing the snap before the line was set when he was trying to spike the ball. He made a poor pitchout that hit Fournette in the helmet in a disastrous sequence near the Ole Miss goal line in the fourth quarter.

Harris made some nice throws. He found Tyron Johnson in stride for a 39-yard TD pass and on the play before hit him with a nice, quick sideline throw. But his short game is awful. He doesn't have good touch on the swing passes to the backs, missing Fournette and BryKeithon Mouton each once. He had Dupre open on a third-down comeback route and threw it into the ground. Harris' mechanics still need some work as he has a tendency to short arm the ball on shorter throws. Miles said he was brilliant at times but not enough times. He still doesn't handle the hostile environment well.

Nailed it. Remember, this guy was recruited by Cameron.

I'm pretty sure he called the timeout before the play clock went down? Not sure what Klienpeter was watching

Also, the goal-line pitch may or may not have been Harris' fault. If you re-watch it, LF looks like he's trying to sell a fake more than catch the ball. Obviously there was confusion, but I think there was discussion of a fake toss dive and QB bootleg ....but I think someone blew a read at the line of scrimmage. Maybe it was on Harris, but I don't think anyone outside the team could know.

That play was more like classic JJ. I got the willies watching it as it brought a lot of bad 1/9 memories.

LSU us nowhere near 90s bad nor are they trending that way. The SEC West was not what it is today either.

Miles's grade in my opinion over the last several years has been a solid D.

Oh for crying out loud, how old are you? I'm 33, and I know damn well this program is nowhere near the debacle of the 90's when going to the I-Bowl was a huge deal.

The program is strong, the recruiting base is strong despite the issues in the coaching staff. What you people don't realize is we are going to eventually have to replace Les because even if he stays hes not going to coach forever. Do you want to make a change now while the program is still on solid footing, or later once the program and recruiting has declined?

I've said this over and over on this board since Bama: No coach is greater than the program. Period. LSU got stuck in this buyout situation by forgetting that a few years ago. Do any one you honestly believe Les was going to leave and go to Arky? Especially coming off the Bama NC debacle?

Aleva got played like a fiddle. And then doubled down during the Chavis debacle to prevent getting played again. I have no love for Chavis, and I don't think he deserved some exclusive agreement, so I applaud Joe for not falling for it twice. But the Steele hire says a lot about the state of the program. No reputable coordinator wants to come here. So simply telling Les he has to hire someone else isn't going to fix the problem.

More like the 60s. Heard on the radio its the first time lsu has lost 3 straight by double digits since 1966. I had to look it it up to believe it.

Les needs to go, but you kids are ignorant....and y'all don't even see it.

It's very likely that LSU will go 8-3, and would have gone 9-3 with a chance to win 10 games. Most didn't even give LSU a chance to win 10 games this year......last year they were 8-4 with a bowl loss....if in fact they beat A&M......just curious, what trend line do you see there?
