Robinson is downright mean. Some people like contact and some don't.

I dont think white is motivation. Collins took horrible angles all night, not to mention getting burned.

White impressed IMO.

Mills being benched? That is just being stupid. He is an nfl talent and our best CB. I can see White replacing Jcollins as our number 2 and RR/Collins fight for the 3rd spot. But I do see RR ending up being a starter by the end of the season. How did the recruiting service be so wrong on a guy with this much talent..kudos to the coaching staff going to florida to pickup this guy.

Loston?? yeah let's sit the day 1 talent

No I think anybody playin SEC football should have a substantial amount of weight and strength on them and
not be rail thin... Rashard Robinson needs to put on weight and muscle before he can and will become a starter in the SEC... 6'2 164 will not cut it

Don't you think it depends on what they're up against? I agree that a smallish DB is at a major disadvantage against someone like Gurley, but he may have better coverage skills against speedy receivers.

I don't give a shite about tackles when we are talking about Collins...we could put a swimsuit model out there if they could stay in the same zip code as a receiver and we would be in better shape against Murray, AJ, and Manziel.

Collins is terrible. Mills was stellar against TCU and was pretty solid as a freshman. I want him out there.

Yea I do that's why I said SEC opponents but Robinson is a 6'2 rangy cb like tharold Simon . I don't think his strength is small speedy receivers being that he's taller ...I think his best feat would be matching up against bigger receivers meaning he has to get stronger ...I think les compared white to Claiborne and Robinson to Simon before

It started at the end of last year with Ole Miss, Arkansas and Clemson. The change is needed and best if done as soon as possible.

Robinson is much quicker and faster than Simon ever was.

So were going to have 3 new starters in the secondary because of the UAB game?? OK.

No, we are going to have new starters in the secondary because our corners are tentative coming up in run support and have gotten beat deep in consecutive games.

Mills is a good CB and is an NFL talent, But he isn't neccessarly the next in line of great CB talent like a Claiborne, Peterson, or Mathieu. He was a true freshman last season. He was our best CB last season but it's not impossible that White and Robinson or even Dwayne Thomas could be better. Who is to say that if White and Robinson were freshman last season that they wouldn't have beaten Mills out.

I don't think people understand how small 164 is to be playing at d-1 football especially in SEC that means most receivers have a 25+ 30+ lb strength and weight advantage on you plus you have to tackle 210+ rb's your body would start to break down not to mention getting blocked and ran over.

you people keep saying this but shite, size isn't everything. Ask TM7 that. Did you know other factors play a role, like athletic ability and techniques on how to tackle and get off blocks. Holy shite. I might be on to something. Not to bash you, but tailgating last night I got row tickets to a 5'5" 140 dude knocking a 6'3-5" 220+ roided up guido wanna be out cold.

Let the boys ball

Call me whatever, but DB coach Corey Raymond has not done well since coming to the Tigers. DBs have taken bad tackling angles and have not used good technique in coverage. I think the DBs are getting by with talent at this point, and, at times, look lost in zone coverage. The coverage and run support has declined since the beginning of last year... Even Reid looked a little off last year.

Am I wrong to assume there is a communication and technique problem with the dbs? We know they're talented, but there has been problems since Ron Cooper left.

No we're not going to have new starters because Kleinpeter is exaggerating to troll people and get more readers. Which this accomplished very well. Collins only got beat once in the TCU game and the drive ended with a punt. Mills got beat by one of the fastest players in the south.

We still have the 2nd ranked pass defense in the SEC and we played against 3 QB's that put up some good numbers in their careers.

he is just a redshirt freshman. Mills came in more ready to play but that doesn't mean that Thomas hasn't developed. He got PT in both games so far.

This article is really reaching here. I could see White/Robinson replacing Collins but Mills isnt going anywhere.

Only thing I'm buying is the White replacement.

It was Martin and Thompson coming into the season and Martin barely winning the job. If anything, Thompson would be replacing Martin.

Or...this could be something someone leaked to light a fire under their asses and let them know that they're on thin ice.

White is a beast. He'll be starting by Auburn.
