I'll play your game though. Had we made an outside hire at HC like we did at OC do you think O gets a shot at a mid major or goes back to DL? I think he leaves. Ensminger was demoted back to TE coach.

Play my game? You posted it. My god.

You said you were ok not hiring Ensminger because no one was beating down the door to hire him. YOU SAID THAT.

I said," using that logic we shouldnt have hired Coach O because no one was beating down the door to hire him as a coordinator or head coach"

I was playing your game. Try to keep up.

My entire first pose was a response to why we underachieved. We had no option to hire a coordinator mid season...

I had told you since then my post was regarding play callers, as is painfully obvious if you read the whole the post. Play calling was the emphasis bc this was an interim staff. Coach Os job as HC is assembling a staff, creating a philosophy, recruiting, and managing the program. He was not in a position to do anything but manage another mans staff, philosophy, and recruits at that time

you took one part of my post and emphasized it in an attempted gotcha moment. That's fine, I said I'll play along and still you were wrong. O would be a head coach somewhere else if not offered the HC position here. Ensminger is not an OC somewhere else and was not offered the OC job here.

This is being hypocritical as hell. Tbe offense looking better once Miles was fired was the reason for most of you touting ed orgeron yet its also the reason we underachieved?
Where were all Ed Orgeron's head coaching offers coming from? Was he turning down Head Coaching offers to remain LSUs dline coach?

If you say youre ok with not keeping Ensminger because no one was beating down the door to hire him as an oc, then you must apply the same logic to ed orgeron. Please enlighten me to all these programs beating down the door to hire ed orgeron as a head coach. Im not just gonna take your word for it because there is nothing you can point to as proof to ed orgeron being a head coach anywhere. He has been a position coach for 29 of his 32 years.

He's never been a DC, so no he was never going to be a DC. He was coming off of his second straight very successful interim gig. He would have gotten a shot based off that and recruiting ability at a mid major.

There is proof Ensminger would not be an OC elsewhere, he is not an OC elsewhere.

Cool emoji use by the way. Really emphasizes your confidence in your argument.

Reminds me of 2013 a lot . Different teams but similar level of talent.

As a pure corner I think he's the best to come through here.

Uh no. Claiborne was the best pure cover corner to play at LSU and in the SEC itself since this century. He had been rated as one of the best in the country in the BCS era (at least top 3 from my memory, possibly #1).

Peterson was probably the best all around corner of the BCS era.

White was just okay his first three years to the point where he would have likely been a 3rd round pick, 2nd round at best, had he came out last year. This year he was phenomal, and is worthy of a 1st round (hope the Steelers go after him).

I've been seeing Fournette to the Jags, Panthers, and even Colts.

The Jags have a young team that will get better with experience. I think Fournette could grow with that group. I think the Panthers will be back to top form and would love to see Fournette thrive with a good OL.

People let Claiborne's nfl stint cloud their memory of him here at lsu. He was the best cover corner since Webster its just Dallas selected a man to man cb and made him play zone. Something he rarely did at lsu. In 2011 Mo almost never had safety help and he still didnt get burnt. As good as our dline was in 2011 we got a bunch of coverage sacks.

I'd like to see LF go to CAR like a pick or two later. Him and Cam together would be fun to watch.

I wish he'd end up with my Dolphins. He won't be available at 22 though
