Kiffin: Burrow had "concern" about LSU's offense before transfer

When Burrow made his decision to leave Ohio State, LSU was on his radar, but the plodding pro-style offense the Tigers had run in recent years wasn’t overly appealing to him.

Kiffin said that Burrow’s dad, who actually played for Kiffin’s father at Nebraska, was a fan of LSU, so Burrow looked into a move down to Baton Rouge. That’s when Kiiffin had some discussions with Ed Oregeron, a member of his coaching staffs at Tennessee and USC, about changing the offense at LSU. It was then that Kiffin got a look at Burrow, and was impressed by what he saw.
