Kickoff tradition- why not?

Why doesn't the crowd yell "TIGERS!" right when the ball is kicked. Seems a little dumb to be yelling "OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH" and then peak at the kick and that's it. Why not "GEEEEEAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUXXXXXXXX" then when the ball gets kicked- "TIGERS!!!". Hell, we do it for everything else. Just saying

For some reason, I'm sure the slap dicks on here will probably make fun of you for asking this question. But I like the idea. It would probably sound very cool.

I still don't know what we say right after the ball is kicked off..I think everyone yells something different

That's my point. Don't get me wrong, this sounds cool and everything but it would just end up sounding like the garbled teacher from Charlie Brown.

why don't we yell "LINE" at the kickoff moment.
Everyone knows that the team with the best offensive line will probably win the game.
We are letting everyone know we are intelligent fans by doing "OOOOOOOOOOO line" at the start of the game

So gumps can yell "Roll Tide Roll" and Georgia can yell "Go Dawgs, Sick em' ROOF ROOF ROOF", Arkansas can yell "Go Pig Soooie, Hey!" etc, but we can't yell ONE WORD IN UNISON?

I have always yelled Geeeeeaaaauuuxxxxx - not oooohhhh before the kick and "Tigers" when it is kicked. Been doing it for 40 years and most people around me do the same...
