Is it time to let Fulton or savion play in his spot? His play this year & the last half of last season seems to be declining.

I liked what I saw out of Paris but even he got clowned by their WR. I think we underestimated that guy. Fred Ross I think.

He's never beaten badly, but also just doesn't play the ball. That's what causes him to get thrown on.

He is in position to make every play. The problem is that he is failing to get his head around to locate the football. You can't rely solely on reading the body language of the receiver to predict when and where the ball will be arriving.

To be fair, several of our defensive backs were guilty of this last night.

The one major exception I can think of is Ed Paris' coverage against Ross on the reception near the 5-yard line. Ross is a terrific receiver who happened to make a few exceptional plays last night.

I still think Tolliver has immense potential at the position. He is the best physical specimen we currently have at corner. And to be fair, Jackson was the guy who was picked on last week. It happens at times.

He may have a neck issue....

Cause he never turns his head around to look for the ball.

KT is actually pretty dang good in man coverage, as said above he is not getting his head around fast enough. That is all that is keeping him from being about as dominant as a corner can be.
Dude is a straight up beast otherwise.

It often feels like people here don't actually understand that the other team practices and has capabilities as well. Sometimes people just make outstanding plays. Sometimes the best offensive threat on the other team beats one of our guys..... Sometimes it's worthy of just saying "great pass, great catch" and moving on to the next play.

I'm sure if some of you watched PP every Sunday, you'd say he needs to be replaced.
Perspective...

Agreed. He played the first 90% of the route perfectly, but that last 10% as the ball closed in he often didnt get his head around and body into position fast enough to adjust.
Thats fundamentals that can be fixed quickly, thankfully.

Their receivers played lights out. KT3 had good coverage on at least two of those long receptions. Not great, but not bad either.

Off season surgery and not yet 100%, even in his reduced capacity still better than what is behind him.

He has great position every time but doesn't seem to play the ball.

Fred Ross is a 1st team All-SEC type of player. He just plays for State.

He made a huge mistake going inside on that one play. As a cb you never go inside because if the wr spins outside you have no help. Thats why the cb goes outside and if the wr turns inside you have help.

I thought Tolliver was 85% excellent last night. Corners get beat. He was mostly a beast.

He is not doing basic shite like turning his head around to locate the ball. They need to fix that now.

What is wrong with you? Dude covers really well. No CB allows zero receptions. Get real.

He's not getting beat from the line. He is with the receiver consistently. He just needs to learn to turn his head and then he will start getting some swats.
