and their passing yards were only after we had a commanding lead and Chavis decided to trade passing yards for clock and get LSU a win against a good team
that's really not accurate
it was 27-21 in the late 3rd quarter when claiborne took a kickoff back 99 yards for the TD and LSU added two more rushing TD's in the late 4th quarter. Up until the KOR, the game was tight and WVU had all of the momentum.
that is right before they made it a 6 point game. They were throwing all over LSU. Hence the 463 yards passing.

After reading this thread I watched the highlights of the Orange Bowl fiasco against WVU........looked up the statistics for Clemson for the three seasons that Coach Steele was at Clemson and stats after he left.......read about his only head coaching job at Baylor and read other articles written when he was fired/resigned as Clemson Defensive Coordinator. I tried to be as objective as possible.........and I came away VERY concerned. I hope Miles knows what he is doing and I am glad that we have Coach O in case of a melt-down.

Didn't he produce some major NFL talent as a LB coach? Sometimes coaches are thrown to the wolves too early. They need to start back down the organizational chart and work back up.
