Exactly...As much as I would like to see KW breakout, he seems unable to change his mentality, which is decidedly HIS PROBLEM.

Scott + Murphy + Ridley + 2009 recruits (Pratt, Ford, etc...) => KW is a luxury and complimentary back. Even if we sustain injuries, we are good to go without him. If KW changes his mindset and learns better agressiveness and vision, that would be awesome and welcome. In the mean time, we are good to go as is. THIS IS NOT ABOUT KW! LSU IS NOT IN NEED OF KW TO BE SUCCESSFUL. HOWEVER, WE SURE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE HIM PLAY A KEY ROLE, EVEN THOUGH WE CAN BE SUCCESSFUL WITHOUT HIM.

Psych, you forgot about Kentucky last year, all LSU had to do was give him the ball the whole game and they wouldn't have a loss on the record last year. CS that is.

I didnt forget about that at all. Go read the game thread, I was calling for Scott the entire 2nd half, but I guess he just had too many fumbling problems in the locker room at half, isnt that right JPLSU?

My point isnt that Keiland Williams should start every game or even get more carries than Scott. My point is that Keiland has proven to be a dynamic, versatile back as well as Charles Scott. They both should split carries much like Reggie/Deuce in 06

Assuming 1st half sucess===2nd half sucess is not logical. Teams make adjustments.
the hell you say, he never touched the ball in the 2nd half. so how would we know?

The problem is that Richard Murphy is better than Williams, and before it is all over will be the best of the 3 running backs. Yes, scott is great, but I am talking about at the next level also.

No arguments. At the moment, however, Scott is what is needed at this point of the season/program. I concur Murphy is the best in the long run - pure explosiveness and agility in that boy right there.

Why would they. All that has been true up untill now. Keiland is running like a different back now. It's his senior year, his money year, and he is finally running up to his potential.

Only really stupid comments I see are

How did I know that Psychward dragged this up?

I, too, was reading this thread as if it were started today and I was quite baffled.

Keiland has finally shown a sign or two of being what he was back in '06. Still, 72 yards against Vandy is not the end all sign that KW is back and better than ever.

In the meantime, this O-Line is going to have to get much better. Les was obviously lying to the media just because he can when he said this was the most talented O-line he's been around at LSU.
