And all will be forgiven...we need one great recruiting class to fill the gaps from the past mistakes...jmho..the future is bright at LSU sports! GO Tigers!

I agree. Win out, and if Bama happens to stumble, then great. If not, we still have a one loss season and play in the Sugar Bowl. You can be upset with that.

A head coach that know how to game plan for the biggest game of the season would help.

LSU has never faced a more dominant DL than they did last week...not in the history of the program! Coach O and Grimes will fix that! The past failures at recruiting are now being repaired. We've done well with what we have currently. But if this class finishes up the way it can and we expect, all will be well!

The last time LSU played in the Sugar Bowl they won the Natty the next year.
The stars are aligning...

Winning out (which would include Fournette jumping back up to top of the Heisman prospects) will go a LONG way towards the future of the program.
If they manage to let the loss get them down and play uninspired and pick up another loss or two, that #1 recruiting class and momentum that we built will be yet another casualty in the gump war.

We'll always be a "young team" said every pumper everywhere all the time.

nobody said this for 2014
and nobody said this for this year other than we should see some improvement, which we have

U'll said that last year. ( WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR! )

you're missing the point
Many, many, many posters were saying after the first 7 games
"we going to da ship"
"we headin to the Naty"
"playoff bound"
and on and on. NOW, that the myth has been dispelled, everyone changes their tune and starts chanting "wait til next year...we're young."
So which is it?

god forbid them for being positive and cheering, right?

We are young though. Look around the team and most of the stars are sophomores.
I don't see why thinking that we should see improvement next year is somehow being mocked.

Oh no, fans being happy about their team! The horror!!!!

I'll settle for, just don't get embarrassed from here on out. Arkansas is very capable of passing on every down as well as running it.

There's a difference between being positive and being waaaaaaay overconfident though Salmon.
Stating that the team should be strong and have a good year with improved QB play and a beast at RB is being positive.
Not once in my sphere of influence did I say we would win the NC, because I knew we would have a thin D (D line/ LBs), a suspect passing game, and I knew we hadn't passed our litmus test (Bama) in 4 years.
But look what happens, we win our first 7 and now its "own like a chicken bone." I have personally never seen as many of our fans predicting a blowout against Bama as we saw this year. Now everyone is backpedaling saying oh we're just young and wait til next year.
This routine gets old in a hurry.

your confusing happiness with sheer stupidity. This "happiness" as you call it was rampant on this site before the game.
Stating that you're going to blow out bama and roll into the NC undefeated before playing a team that has OWNED you for the last 4 years is a bit short-sighted...wouldn't you agree?

some people choose to be optimistic
some choose to be pessimistic
I, personally, would much rather fans be optimistic rather than drowning in their own pessimism constantly
thats just me though
